Now don't ask me what defines a "skinnie minnie" but perhaps this type of thread discussion could clarify the popular terminology.
Who knows --- maybe some of the BBWs and BBMs will participate and offer their personal opinion.

I see all these posts from BBWs and BBMs on this site but there is not much said about a small sized woman or man. Is it because the only thing filling the pages of this dating site are large sized men and women. That is what appearances are representing.
Just for the record (again) ~~ I am a small sized woman.
I stand a towering 4'11" in height.
I have a BMI of 19 (which is low).
I have a small frame.
I struggle to keep my weight above 100 pounds to 114 pounds. (It is a very tough endeavor.)
I have exceptional metabolism which keeps my weight at a low to mid constant.
I have never been a BBW and have no inclination in that regard.
Why would large sized women & men call me a skinny minnie and be jealous of my size just because they are their own respective size? I don't call them names and pick on them because of their size.

I was a very skinny, skinie-minnie growing up due to a ruptured appendix that almost killed me. It was not fun growing up, beibg the tallest, scrawniest skinnie-minnie in school. Boys wanted girls girls with curves back then. In order to find blue jeans that fit, had to shop at men's clothing stores. No ready-made girl's or women's clothes fit. And, now after, lifetime career at a sit-down, 3 children, working a night job for 13 years have a bit more meat on my bones. And, now men want a skinnie-minnie VICTORIA's Secret model! I am a lot better, happirr, healthier woman now than was back in those skinnie-minnie days! Some of us are built for speed, some of us built for comfort for the long haul. Don't know what men want these days, but as for me, I'd choose comfort!

WOW! I had a pair of pink pedal-pushers when I was 13 ... but I sure couldn't wear them away from my own front yard.
Hells Bells .. my older brother couldn't even wear jeans away from home until he was in the 5th grade; and then they had to be dark denim blue, pressed and creased.

Well, Cup, usually only wore them around home on the farm. But, in the winter we did wear them to the one-room school that we attended but under our skirt or dress. Used get pretty cold in the wintertime in that old building! No to mention going to the unheated outhouse! LOL!!!! Good old days? NOT too!!!
