I've caught 4 or 5 phonies on here. You can usually tell pretty easily, but it amazes me how many fall for the BS without a shred of proof. I take a special satisfaction in making a fool of them in public.

The one that gets me the most..
Is all these army guys who claim... special forces... rangers.... etc. Ya anyone can goto ranger school and sit in the states for 4 years dusting stacks of parts in the storage bins.
We had a guy down here at a stand next to my parents farmers market. Claimed he was special forces etc first sgt whatever. One day pops went over and asked him three basic questions. How long was he in. Where did he goto school and what was his rank..
First sgt huh... and you were only in 4 years... wow...
e3.. oh thats private first class buddy...
I dont know what pops said after that but the guy vacated his stand that day and never returned...
Didnt seem like much of a hero to me.
A hero to me is the fire fighter up the street. Bill had a roof collapse on him a few years ago. Burned 40percent of his body and cost him 6 fingers. The reason he is a hero is because he still vollunteers at the firehouse and still suits up.
And dont forget all the boys in plots around the world who never made it to arlington or ft indiantown gap instead they rest in the ground they helped take. Dont forget the boys on Iwo or any of the other islands where they fell. They were herosc too.

<---  served 19 years...both active and Guard...served in Iraq during OIF I and II...and now as a civilian...8 tours split between Iraq and Afghanistan. You couldn't drag me away from this shithole! But now after being in a combat zone since 2003...maybe it's time to come home.

I knew a guy who said he was in the marine corps during korea, I didn't tell him that I was a marine and he started slinging his bull shit, to find out by doing some math in my head and realized due to his age he would have been 11 yrs. old fighting the Chinese and n. Korean's didn't want to start anything so I let him go on, so then I asked him what his mos was and he said he forgot asked him if he fired certain military weapon's that I just made up [355xyz type bx rocket launcher , mega super 144lky 39 calibrated rifle etc
and he said he fired all of them lol, I just let it go it was worth a laugh
