When is it considered dating/relationship? |

My last relationship was someone I was with when I was in high school. We recently broke up a year ago and I been single ever since but been dating/ seeing guys but I feel like I'm too old to be ask that question "want to be my girlfriend?" I feel like that's little kid stuff. And I don't want to feel like I'm in a relationship with someone when he doesn't feel the same way. So do guys still ask a women to be his girl? Or what are

Yes they ask for you to be there girlfriend.
They also ask to be exclusive and say they only want to date you and you date them.

Well the difference is really like you said, a young love is like when you both agree to be boyfriend and girlfriend and it's some thing you do for a while.
More adult relationships are generally by observation rather than intent, ie. after you've been seeing each other every day for a few weeks and the dozenth time you've just had sex it's merely an observation that you're acting like boyfriend/girlfriend.
At that point the way most people ask for confirmation is by making plans with their new partner, like, "Hey keep next saturday arvo free, there's a show you're taking me to."
If they weren't on the same page as you they'd buck, like, "I don't care what you're doing saturday, I'm going to the pub."
And what that is, dear folks, is a breakup.
The relationship establishes itself, that's the mature perspective on it. People still have choice, but simple observation tells you what your relationships with everyone are.

My last few relationships, the actual question never came up. When I met my late husband, I just let go of the others I'd been talking with, but he and I never specifically said we were boyfriend/girlfriend.
The guy I'm with now, who I've been with for over three years, he and I did sort of have that conversation. I asked him if he wanted a relationship or if he was looking for casual. I asked that pretty early on.
For the most part, though, it's always just been assumed once you start spending so much time together.

I say if that moment when yall on the phone for more than a hour then to the point where all you hear is breath thats when its considered dating cause that little small thing alone shows that both participants like each other....im still waiting for that

As far as exclusive dating....everyone is different.
Some start out being exclusive from the get go...its just how they are.
Some don't...same reason.
To find out which they are....you talk long enough before you start dating...long enough to know thats really how or how not they are.
My point above was....enough times people jump to fast into a relation, when its better to wait a while and be sure.
Then you do know....then when they both know for sure, talking about it or bring it up can be mutual, or either one brings it up.
All the risk, shouldn't be placed on him all the time.
But there is no risk, when you both know it for sure...then you both should have no problem talking about it.
A relation is not built on a person being a vehicle to have a relation,its based on that person, and thats the motivation to have a relation with them.

I asked my girlfriend to be my girlfriend. And we're both older than you. That way it's clear that we're exclusive and we're not seeing anyone else.

It's just something you decide on together. You just know it when it happens. There is no right way to declare it when in a relationship.

I met my current boyfriend in November 2013. He never really asked me to be his girlfriend. However, we had an instant connection and have been talking a lot on here and Facebook. He lives an hour and 30 minutes from me. He comes over to see me as often as he can. He is the only guy I want to be with and I'm the only girl he wants to be with.
