I'm a single mom to a 9 year old boy. I have a disability called dystonia which affects my voice, my left hand, and my neck. I have a Master's Degree in Science. My major was Child Development & Family Studies.I volunteer on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I work with adults who have cognitive disabilities. I love to read, watch TV, listen to country and pop music, watch movies, and hang out with my family.
I really do enjoy the singles with disabilities group. Every member is so sweet to me on there. I also enjoy posting in other forums and groups. If anyone has the nerve to message me saying I don't belong on here because I have a boyfriend will be immediately blocked. I have every right to be on here. I talk to my sweet boyfriend on here still. He is the only reason I'm still on here. If you have a problem with that then don't message me or post on any of my threads.
I'm dating an amazing guy who I met on here. I love him with all of my heart. I would never do anything to hurt him. He is the best guy I have ever met. I love you so much Brian!  
I wouldn't mind making some friends on here both male and female.
I have a baclofen pump implanted in my abdomen. It carries baclofen through my spinal cord. I also have Deep Brain Stimulators. The wires and leads are in my brain. The stimulators are in my upper chest on the right and left side. I'm going to have them replaced on December 27th.
I was on the Channel 5 News back in May 2010. I was interviewed about receiving my Master's Degree. I was also featured in the Fort Worth Star Telegram. If you are interested in the news story I would be happy to share the link with you in a message.
I'm looking for a guy who is sweet, caring, and understanding. I usually date guys who are younger then I am. However, if the right guy comes along age doesn't really matter. It's what's on the inside that really matters. Looks don't really matter either. It's not about being hot, good looking, or sexy to me.
Likes: Sweet, understading, caring, a guy who will stand by me during the good and bad times, someone who won't end things even when we have a disagreement, someone who will love me for who I am, and a guy who will take care of me when I'm sick or have surgery.
Dislikes: Guys who smoke (lost both of my grandfather's from smoking), guys who do illegal drugs, guys who want only sex instead of a relationship, and guys who ask me for money.
