Yeah Daphne...the most gorgeous blue eyes. A high school girlfriend. We broke it off when I went away to college and she stayed "home" for college. I thought I was going to die, I'd never ever want anyone else ever again.

and people get nasty in relationships when they are no longer feeling the love and they ecpect their significant others to have the same mindset as the,. Its really selfish and wrong. But it happens.

I dated my first love for 11 years. He was 4 years older than me and we met when I was 15 years old. Long story short - I grew up once I hit 18 years old and he didn't. I stayed with him for 11 years because I thought I couldn't get anyone else and even HE told me that, surprise? lol. I moved out of my parents and on with my life early on and he never would leave his parents house. I know the same people he does and he still lives with his parents to this day and he's going to 49 years old this year, never held down a real job and has been unemployed for the last ten years.

ive had a few women that just didnt have the will to become independent. It sucks because in the end we dont want to see them struggle, we wana see them achieve and be humble and content..

My ex husband, there were good times, we were young and in love. I always liked sharing those with the kids...so they'd have a better view of their Dad than the stuff they experienced/saw in reality of their childhood and divorce.
Hindsight always lends for lessons learned, mostly not to ignore character flaws. We're all human, and have our flaw of course but if you do bad things, bad things will happen to you and likewise, you do good things, good things will happen to you. Life was like living in a mine field..something was ALWAYS blowing up. I learned life is way too short (and the longest thing we do) to live like that. RUN don't walk when you see someone like that.
What was sexy and exciting at 19 was downright scary at 30 with two little kiddos.
Lesson learned the hard way.

I was 13. She kissed me under the Albemarle bridge. Her family and ours use to go camping at the same campgrounds in NC every weekend. It was my first long distance relationship. It lasted all summer.

My first love pops in my life periodically everytime I finally forget about her and trpeases my brain and heart remembering the good past but also knowing that we are two completely different people now and that fantasy in my head probably would never come true even though every time I get even a message from her I get butterflies.
It sucks.
I wana get over her so I can open up to new horizons instead of holding off my happiness for the past 10 years in a hope or chance of putting a smile on her face again..

It was this girl named Katherine Giovanni that i met when I was in 3rd grade. She was always polite and every guy was crazy about her. Also she was one of the smartest girls in school which made me love her twice as much. We didn't talk much until we dated in Middle School then broke up when she moved to Seattle. She inspired me to become a vocalist and was always cheering me on. I never forget the times we had.
