With all of you that have been single for 3+ years, how would you explain your reasons for being single so long? Mine honestly, is lack of guys seeking actual, committed relationships. I've seen way too many men who say they want a relationship, but turn to talking about only sex. The other type of men, lie on their profiles. They do drugs, can't/don't see their kids, or they have an extensive criminal history. Why would I allow someone like that around MY children? LOL
i Don't want sex or lies.. Just a friend.. Sad part is i haven't tried to look or cared.. As for me i had to look at me and find my dumb a$$ again to heal.. Slowly but surely i found me. And still doing so. Hello I'm Isreal and how are u? Have u found yourself and ready to try again...

Divorced almost 5 years ago and dated someone for almost a year up until February. It's hard to find someone when you're busy being both parents for your kids. I know I will find someone worth it one day, so I don't give up hope.

For me it turned into a rediscovery phase. Initially I thought I was ready to go out and meet new people and when I did, it didn't last too long. So I figured, eh, I'll just take my time and center my life again. Get a grip on my new single mom routine. How could I possibly bring anyone close to my sorta chaotic life? And before I realized, it was years down the line, my life feels somewhat in order now and still restructuring, and I haven't had sex in way too long! If things don't change my hymen may grow back! Ha! (Not that Ted Cruz would oppose.  )
But seriously, I've learned that I can't bring just anyone into my life and the ones I know have good potential, are in a different phase in their lives.
