I shave but it's getting annoying though so I want to try waxing. Does waxing hurt and does it "feel better"?

I use Veet Fast Acting Gel Cream Hair Remover for my legs and underarms. No more cuts on my legs like when I used shaving gel and a razor.

I wish I could have laser hair removal but because of my disabilty and having metal implants it's not recommended. Veet works really well for me. I tried Nair and it broke me out.

I recently saw a show on TV that warned against use of public waxing material because the wax was being shared and not kept warm enough to kill the bacteria. I tried cream hair bleach for the first time on facial hairs and loved the results. I also use Veet. It does a good job and does not burn as much as Nair. The only problem with those product is must be washed off at appropriate time and shower needs cleaned well after useing. It is a little messy but results last longer than shaving.

Depends what area and what texture your hair is naturally. Usually brunette is going to be MUCH worse when it grows out in terms of itching. The ideal is electrolysis because what that will do is eventually destroy the follicles so the hair never comes back in and you will be razor and wax free for good however it's expensive and requires several treatments to get there. The hair becomes less and less prevalent until it is gone forever. Most people feel the investment is worth it because just think how much you can spend on waxing over the years?

^^That's what most peolpe end up doing, male or female but it's a hassle. You dont always have time for that and it's damaging to the skin in the long term to keep raking a razor across it.

It all depends on the individual. I can wax my brows and underarms with no problems, but it bruises my legs really bad! Nair works great for me!

I find I pretty much have to use wax on my eyebrows. It was a reality I had to embrace. I swear to god there are Vietnamese infantry hidden in those suckers that dont realize the war is over yet.

Let me see...hot wax on my skin then being ripped off? No way, tried it once on my legs & I said Never again, I can't imagine it on the "danger zone" or sensitive face...it was bad enough on just 2 strips on my leg.
I kinda quit doing my eyebrows...the plucking just hurt too much even if I put Ambesol before doing it...so if I do it now, I just use Nair on a Q-tip & wipe off.
I'll stick to shaving everything else I'm allergic to pain here

I'm not a hairy person. I only shave my legs and arm pits once a months. Down there, not too much, just I liked I'm not a hairy person. Shaving and waxing can causes infection, so I recommend clean the area with mild soap and.warm water before begin shaving or waxing.
If i had thick hair and it grow fast, I'd chose to shave than wax because wax isn't good you.

I had my under arms zapped years ago... The best investment ever made... Life couldn't get easier...
If you actually calculate how much you spend over a year for razor blades and shaving creams and lotions, and multiply by (perhaps) 20 or 30 years, you'll realize a little over a thousand bucks (for my under arms anyway) is seriously cheaper...
