You made a lot of unfounded presumptions it's hard to know where to start. As far as safe sex goes I don't think there is a lot more important things to practice which I do every single time. Why do you follow an organization that had tricked you into thinking sex is a dirty thing? I think it's funny coming from an organization that has been involved in a decades long scandal covering up the molesting of children. Say what you will about my bankrupt morality but at least I don't draw my morals from the biggest fraud in human history.

Yep, same old ignorant and contradictory lunatic as always, that's Oopsie for you. Doing the work of her invisible thing, huh? Sending their loan sharks (missionaries) all over the planet to shove the one and only invisible thing into the minds of other human animals! Just skip the fact that encouraging people to have more kids born into poverty, pain and short lives is indirect murder. Contraceptive devices and clean needles? NEVER! Sell the Vatican, feed and clothe the world! Krishna loves me, this I know, cause the Gita tells me so! Naturally, Krishna was born of a virgin, performed "miracles" and was crucified before his blast-off to "heaven" 6,000 years ago. Onward Hindu soldiers, fighting to the end!

What if you are woreshipping the wrong God all along, and it's really you that's going to hell? You will spend an eternity in hell with evil clowns. Sorry, but it's true. I read it in some ancient text... so it has to be true, right?

Isaiah 9:17

Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

All of humanity is stupid... including you.. and me. So embrace it. Get used to not knowing or being able to prove a single thing at all ever... because we can't and we never will. Our entire lives are based off assuming what we perceive is true... and further we assume our biases are correct. And even worse than that... we hold closes and most true words written thousands o years ago by illiterate farmers and cavemen. LOL XD

We humans consume excess resources and are terribly irrational. We eat ourselves to death just like goldfish... we are as dumb as fish!

We have many more differences to resolve.

There are different levels of stupid. There have been many studies done that have said the more likely you are to lean towards magical thinking (religion) the lower your IQ level is likely to be. Original poster just an example. Condones all kinds of bs on his thread as long as he agrees with it. Phonie holy man. He complains about people going off topic when if wants no complaints go To Christian chat where there are other clones.

Quote from jason_in_tx:
The LORD is a jealous God, filled with vengeance and wrath. He takes revenge on all who oppose him and furiously destroys his enemies! The LORD is slow to get angry, but his power is great, and he never lets the guilty go unpunished. He displays his power in the whirlwind and the storm. The billowing clouds are the dust beneath his feet. At his command the oceans and rivers dry up, the lush pastures of Bashan and Carmel fade, and the green forests of Lebanon wilt. In his presence the mountains quake, and the hills melt away; the earth trembles, and its people are destroyed. Who can stand before his fierce anger? Who can survive his burning fury? His rage blazes forth like fire, and the mountains crumble to dust in his presence. The LORD is good. When trouble comes, he is a strong refuge. And he knows everyone who trusts in him. But he sweeps away his enemies in an overwhelming flood. He pursues his foes into the darkness of night. (Nahum 1:2-8 NLT)

Yeah God is a psycho?

Does anyone else think it's strange that someone can post this and call God a "psycho" without the comment being flagged as "inappropriate," yet the OP posted a verse that promotes love for your fellowman, and the post challenging people to love each other is "INAPPROPRIATE" ??? I think the only psychos here are the people who are so judgmental and intolerant of others they can't keep their mouse off the FLAG button.

What, are you so slow that you don't realize that primitive and ignorant human animals created gods and religions? Do you think that it was the brains of rocks or trees that came up with the failed hypothesis? It's the religiously-minded people of the planet that are the most intolerant, hate-filled, angry, egotistical and fearful.

I'm surprised he didn't block me then. I try my best to be respectful when I challenge someone's position, which might sometimes make a difference. Here's my first post in response to that thread- I think his response to me was courteous enough:

Quote from knightofcolours:
That is SO WEIRD and illogical that you refer to "intelligent design" of this extremely complex and brilliant universe "hocus pocus," but then refer to astrology as REAL. You don't see any "scientific illiteracy" in that viewpoint? It seems as logical as not believing in Santa Claus but acknowledging the Easter Bunny as genuine. In case you still don't believe in that comparison, Santa Claus was originally a real person, known as Saint Nicholas. History attests to the existence of the man, but people believe he is a fantasy character in a red suit. As for intelligent design, science attests to a universe that is designed with such complexity, all of our "brilliant" modern scientists with their minds put together still have not figured out how to "create" a living amoeba or a very simple specimen of plant life from raw atoms, MUCH LESS a universe like ours, replete with its mind-boggling complexities. So, science attests to an INTELLIGENTLY DESIGNED WORLD, designed as if by an intelligence far beyond human comprehension. Just because the Source of creation is misrepresented by religion and pop culture as a fantasy character with a big white beard, sitting on a throne, that ignorant misrepresentation does not negate the intelligence of design in the creation. But, now, astrology is legit??? Was astrology intelligently designed, or was that bit of magic something that blind darwinian evolution somehow brought into existence?

Dictionary

1mag·ic
noun \'ma-jik\

: a power that allows people (such as witches and wizards) to do impossible things by saying special words or performing special actions

===========

So the big bang isn't magical... it's an anomaly. Magic is created by people (supposedly) and is controlling natural things supernaturally. So the big bang would only be magical if created by someone (God). Which you believe, right?

The only belief of mine that is your concern, bel, is my belief in allowing people to believe whatever they want to believe.

If people want to believe in a banana god (<---) who lives on a volcanic island, you let them believe that because its the respectful thing to do. Who are you to say what is absolute and what is not? Prove the Big Bang was an anomaly or accept the fact that any number of alternative ideas could be viable.

"Acts 17:24-32

24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

32 And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter."

(KJV)

Oh praise thee, how beautifully poetic to mine ears.

This logical seems to past right over their heads.

It makes me ask a VERY simple question... are you trying to control what people believe in? Surely there's no one DUMB enough to actually say what we can or can not believe it.

If the answer to my question is NO... what are you trying to accomplish? All this talk about invisible sky people and magical things is all your personal opinions which is totally irrelevant to the topic of this thread.

I see a lot of you got these feminine feelings inside that make you feel some type of way towards people with different beliefs than you have. All of the rhetoric & bashing are coming from non believers or atheist.

Im beginning to see what type of people atheists are by just thumbing through the pages and reading their hostile anger comments.

This is a peaceful thread & I prefer it stay that way. If you didn't like the topic... don't bring your emotional a** up in here.. crying about magic & invisible men.

Make your own thread if you want to talk about invisible sky people... I promise you want see me up in there trying to convince people what to believe in.

Don't participate if you don't agree... it's that simple.. not rocket science. Plus you don't need a high school diploma to understand.

I appreciate all the poster who talk with common sense because common sense isn't so common anymore.

Jeremiah 12:1-6

1 Righteous art thou, O Lord, when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with thee of thy judgments: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously?

2 Thou hast planted them, yea, they have taken root: they grow, yea, they bring forth fruit: thou art near in their mouth, and far from their reins.

3 But thou, O Lord, knowest me: thou hast seen me, and tried mine heart toward thee: pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.

4 How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end.

5 If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?

6 For even thy brethren, and the house of thy father, even they have dealt treacherously with thee; yea, they have called a multitude after thee: believe them not, though they speak fair words unto thee.

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities- his eternal power and divine nature- have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse."

Thanks for going to the trouble to copy/paste your words from Frank's thread, that was kind of you. But all that it amounts to is that you buy the thinking of primitive and ignorant human animals. First you think that an invisiible creator that you created created -- that had no creator and had invisible qualities -- created an entire universe because it thought so highly of animals on this insignificant little tiny planet of an ordinary and boring star so that you could survive the death of your body the death of your body, right?

I don't even know what you mean, Biggie, do you? That was an exchange between me and another man so I don't know how you jumped into the picture with another meaningless statement.

Genesis 21:23

Now therefore swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son's son: but according to the kindness that I have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me, and to the land wherein thou hast sojourned.

"1Chronicles 17:19 & 20

19 O LORD, for thy servant's sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all this greatness, in making known all these great things.

20 O LORD, there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears."

Quote from cern_:
Revelation 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
Revelation 12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
Revelation 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
Revelation 13:2 And the beast which I saw like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

And who had this seat? Why little Damien, of course, you've seen the "Omen" movies. So the talking snake at the beginning of the stupid book grew some legs and walked out to the wilderness and really hated the lady who gave birth to the little 666 kid. I don't think that the snake could speak Hebrew with a flood in his mouth!!
