This is one of my favorite verses in the bible. THIS VERSE HOLDS SO TRUTH.
I see alot of people seems like they are allergic to speaking of the bible... it makes them itch or break out in hives or make some upset or angry. And I think to myself.. why are you so angry? Then i realize the devil is in the detail.. literally.
If you are afraid of speaking publicly about the bible, I would say I understand.. fear of getting persecuted is a terrible thing.
God is alive & real. I will continue to post in this thread.. join me if you like OR watch from the sidelines.

And secondly, if I want to go to a webstie that quotes scriptures and other cartoons from long ago, I would go to a website called "F**KING RETARDS STILL BELIEVE THIS SHIT?com" or "Christian Mingle" or wherever to do that.
And your veiled reference that those that don't believe like you do are "devils" (..."Then i realize the devil is in the detail.. literally") is the MAIN reason I don't like postings like this- because although YOUR GOD teaches acceptance and tolerance, YOU and people like you are condescending and belittling, and dare I say it, hypocritical? With these words, there is judgement, not from the believer in this realm of opinion, but by those words from an infallible authority written for and in the Christian faith.

Alot of gems in the bible.
A Franciscan Monk that took over a company I worked for, singled me out in an employee meeting of about 5 women caregivers. Supposedly turning this nursing home into one for the Franciscan Nuns.
He looked directly at me, and used the above quote, and said, "YOU ARE NOT DIVORCED." Now my husband at the time was my 2nd husband and had just helped this f**ktard the week before tar the leaky roof~for FREE. Cuz my ex happened to be Catholic. Not me....
I put in my 2 week notice.
But the point I want to make is that therefore, then 50% of the Christians in America are NOT DIVORCED, and are living in SIN and they will ALL GO TO HELL.

G: Horus: thought to be born around 3,500 years ago in Egypt to his virgin mommy, Isis. Received gifts from 3 kings as a baby, was crucified and then a spacecraft-ride to "heaven." There are 200 close parallels of the "mythical careers" of Horus and Jesus.
H: the god Adonis was born about 4,000 years ago to his virgin mom, Ishtar (another word for Easter). Little divine Adonis was held in the arms of his mom as she was hailed as the "Queen of Heaven" -- just as in Jesus/Mary myth. Adonis was thought to be both the son and husband of his mother, "God the Father and God the Son" -- kind of like the Jesus myth, huh?
I: Quirinus was a Roman "savior" who was born 2,520 years ago to, of course, a virgin mom. When he was crucified by King Amulius the entire planet shook and was enveloped in darkness, just like you know who's myth.
J: Indra: born in Thibet 2,739 years ago to his virgin mommy. Indra descended from "heaven" on a mission of benevolence and could walk on water and walk in the sky. He led a life of strict celibacy and devout contemplation and also could fortell future events. He was a kind man (Jesus was not a kind man, he was a hate-filled lunatic), just like most "sin-atoning saviors." Regardless, Indra was nailed to a cross, died and returned to his "heavenly mansion."
There are several dozen more of these "savior" myths that were created by people that were being oppressed but these are the stories that are the closest to the myth and legend of Jesus, of southwest Asia, who is thought to have been born 2,018 years ago or 2014 years ago in the spring or near the time of the winter solstice. The last "savior" myth was about Wovoka of the Paiute American Indians in 1890.
