I saw the N64 thread, so I thought to make a PS1 thread. So what's everyone's favorite PS1 games?

I know that I got into the Final Fantasy games late, but I wasn't a fan of turn based RPGs, until I played FF7. Playing that game got me into all the other FF games. I tried it though originally, because of how good it looked( at the time),on the commercials.

Personally, I didn't own one, but I had a college room mate who did and I played the crap out of Tekken. I still like that series.

Resident Evil 2- Still the best direct sequel ever made. Leon Kennedy was born.

Metal Gear Solid- The boss battle against Psycho Mantis still stands the test of time.

I have to admit, when I had a SNES, and Genesis, I rented a PlayStation, from a video store, when it first came out. I didn't like all the buttons, on the controller, and the loading times, on the first cd type games. I thought it would fail, with the Cd-I. Boy was I wrong! I was never so wrong, in my life! At that time though, the games where in those huge cases, like the Sega Saturn games. Later Sony switched to the music cd,type cases.

My favorite ps3 exclusive is probably a toss up between demon souls and the last of us. Ps2 I'd have to go with okami and ps1 metal gear solid of course.

I was hoping there where more MK Sub-Zero fans. I beat that game, only once, the easier way,(by grabbing Shinnok's amulate), because it's so hard. Then in later MK games, they kept referencing things that happened in that game, that you would have seen, in the Sub-zero game. Plus Serena, and Fujin are first in that game!
