I posted a similar topic in General Dating but I don't think I worded it right to get the desired answers I was looking for. So there it is, would you date a guy that doesn't drink?
and I don't mean, rarely or barely. I mean, NEVER. I Never started and I'm quite proud of being a non-drinker. No, I'm not mormon or religious and I'm not even a healthy eater, I mean I try but I eat cookies, donuts, fastfood, whatever I want. However, I've found that some women simply won't go out with a guy that won't have a couple beers with friends.

I would. Not much of a drinker myself though. I enjoy the occasional glass of wine or will try a new drink if out with friends but you don't ever see me drunk.

I would. After being married to an alcoholic it would be a nice change of pace. I'm not a drinker myself unless its a Mudslide or Miami Vice and I know I am not driving anywhere. Good luck in your search. If they won't date you because you don't drink, it is their loss.

I'm not finding much of anyone, lol. But I've had conversations with plenty of ppl, especially when someone offers me alcohol and I say, I don't drink, never have. And I get the usual, "Oh... never?" :o and the follow up, "Are you mormon?" lol. Then it leads to someone saying how they wouldn't want to be with someone that doesn't drink cuz they wouldn't be fun to be around. or they simply would want someone to drink with.

It's funny how ppl like to assume things when you state you're a non-drinker. I get similar reactions when I say I rarely drink. To answer your question I'd have no issues dating a non-drinker, that sure beats an alcoholic plus you don't have to drink to have fun!

Those types are usually in for a rude awakening when they wake as or next to an alcoholic. I used to drink like a fish on weekends with freinds, then realized the girlfreind then drank like a fish together, with freinds, or alone. 9 am saturday morning she was drunk and justified it with "hey, ive been up since 6." Now... i cant really stand drinking or drinkers.

Yeah i would. Cuz i really don't drink Luke i used to n one drink IM buzzing n day next step is water mostly i just dance n enjoy day music i don't need alcohol to have fun. Bout three weeks ago i went clubbing n only drank water day whole nite it was a blastmi

If you can't find a woman that would date a guy that doesn't drink then you're looking in the wrong places. Drinking doesn't define a relationship unless you're an alcoholic.
