I'm looking to pick up a new computer. I wish I'd of taken the computer my former employer had purchased for me but that whole ordeal is long done and gone with so-
I've got a tight budget, I'm currently looking at either

Or

The fact they're both from the same brand is a coincidence.
My budget is 500$, preferably less. I really don't want to build my own anymore, I want something ready to roll and play Skyrim on as close to max settings as possible, along with Old Republic. I also would like to play Civ 5 as close to maxed out and it not take 5 minutes to process a turn.
Also, I want something that's upgradeable for more than just a couple of years like my old computer. I recently picked up a new videocard for it and the damn thing won't even fit even though it's a PCI-E just like the damn slot I was trying to cram it into. I'm as mechanically inclined as a monkey but I'm not that dumb. Which is another reason I no longer want to build my own, the last few I built caused more frustration than the pay or enjoyment I got out of it afterwards.
Or just tell me which of the 2 PCs I've got linked above is the better deal and/or more bang for the buck and I'll be happy. I haven't kept up with the tech since I built my current PC, stopped caring when Vista came out.
Thanks in advance.

Checkout the forums of www.fatwallet.com and slickdeals.net
There are people who are on top of that and know the best deals possible. Their debates are highly informative. Usually you will see them debate specific model bestbuy laptop that is extraordinarily cheap through specific steps of shopping but in between it all is what is really up.

Try mycompclub or QVC. You pay a very low initial deposit and then you pay off payment, very low payments for about 18 months until you officially paid them off. I truthfully am about to do this sometime this month for my upcoming MBA Masters classes starting in the fall.....gamer
