I use an android tablet to access dh. Starting yesterday this site has appeared in a different, difficult format. Don't think I changed anything. This site is now appearing 'shrunken', mostly compressed inside a smaller area and surrounded by advertisements. The menus have also changed, appearing as small tabs on the top of the center box. All features of this site have become compressed within the borders of the new outside advertisements. Any help returning me to the 'regular' dh site would be appreciated. Already tried logging out and searching for this website. All returned results take me to this new appearance.

Does anyone have any fix-it suggestions on this? I'm wondering if an adblocker would help but it sounds like it's more than just an ad issue

You might try posting this in the Help forum too, if you haven't already:
https://DateHookup.dating/Forum-17.htm
I don't know much at all about Android devices; I'll research it and see what I can figure out, but the help forum might get you better results, faster ("Help" seems to get more traffic from fix-it types than this forum does).
My initial search for other reports of this didn't seem to turn up much of anything, so perhaps other Android users have found an easy and intuitive way around this, or it's an option you can reset/change that they have set differently.
Since the site appears "shrunken", it might be a font size setting that could be easily adjusted:

As I understand it, Android users can install Mozilla Firefox as the default browser; if you haven't already tried installing and using Firefox instead, this might be your best solution: Firefox for Windows PCs, at least, make use of browser plug-ins, including Adblock, which could be useful for eliminating those obnoxious ads that are taking up so much of your limited and valuable tablet screen "real-estate". (Normally, I might try to encourage folks to support the site by leaving ads visible and clicking the interesting ones from time to time, but in my experience the ads on this site are an eyesore that advertise nothing to me that I want to see. Your mileage, of course, may vary.)

There is an Android emulator I can install on my PC to see what the site looks like and figure out if there's anything else you can try, but that will have to wait until I have a little more spare time available - hopefully later tonight after work.
Until then, I'd try posting in the help forum, and trying the font-size trick I mentioned above, to see if those help. If you feel comfortable trying a different browser, that would be a great next step (and the one most likely to get results, though it's a little more complicated).
Good luck

I've seen some posters in Help complaining about "shrunken" DH size, but not lately.
The problem has usually been on the cell users end -- not DH.
As already stated --- post in Help and see what others may be experiencing along these lines.
Good luck.
