Nice Fish young lady! Should not be that hard to land a keeper on here there are a lot more men who fish than ladies.

Good for you!
You'll catch a man, just use the right bait, set the hook and hold on.
Never caught or ate muskie, how do they taste? are they white meat? How did you cook it fried, baked or grilled?

My sister seasoned the fillets with Johnny's seafood seasoning, basted it with butter, lastly covered the fillets with thin slices of lemon and then baked it at rather high heat till it was quickly done and still juicy and firm . They taste delicious, not "fishy" like perch or trout, more like halibut I think.
FIRST, Make sure you watch the many YOU TUBE VIDEOS ON HOW TO FILLET MUSKIE before you filet your Muskie because you NEED TO KNOW HOW TO EASILY FILET OUT THE big "Y BONES" that these and a couple other kinds of big game fish fish have, WITHOUT WASTING ANY MEAT!
I have never had so much fun catching a fish before that one! Been fishing since I was four. As a kid, I really thought the word "vacation" meant when your whole family rents a cabin and spends a whole week or two at the lake fishing! LOL! Don't remember anyone in my family, even my DAD, who died in 1975, and had raised me to love fishing, ever catching a fish that big. I bet he was looking down from heaven, all excited, watching me catch it. He LOVED popcorn and fishing!

Do you guys REALLY want to find a gal who enjoys fishing? Then OFFER TO GO FISHING WITH HER (let HER choose the place (not remote or isolated).
IF a guy who owned lake or riverfront property offered to let me fish there, off the bank or dock, i would overlook a lot of "profile" preference problems to try to meet him and go fishing with him there.
If he owned a small motorboat and offered to take me fishing in a relatively non-isolated lake i and most fisherwomen would probably go. I might bring a friend, for safety, on the very first trip, till we got to know and trust you.

42 inch Muskie? 20-24 pounds, just saying, it would be highly unlikely to catch on that short that heavy (30lbs).
Nice catch, but free the fighter and eat Walleye.

Wow what a big fish. You definitely earned bragging rights on that one ma'am!
Congrats! And the way it was cooked sounds divine.
