Great , I'm glad you cared enough 
I love animals. This little guy just showed up at my front door the other night. He was covered in ticks from nose to tail. I gave him a bath, even though he was really too young but I had no choice. I had to keep him in my bathroom until we cleaned him up so my puppy wouldn't get them. Then my daughter and I spent 5-6 hours picking all the ticks off. He was all cleaned up. He played really well with my puppy (50 lbs pitty). I took him to a party at my friend's and one of the families there decided to adopt him. He's the 3rd stray I've taken care of this year. A couple years ago I fostered a litter of kittens whose mama had been hit by a car. Their eyes were still not open. Had to bottle feed them and all sorts of stuff. Found them all homes.

I don't laugh manically. I buy my duck stamp (permit to hunt) I follow regulations and only harvest my limit. I waste little of the bird and eat them. The same as I do with other game and fowl.

I don't laugh manically. I buy my duck stamp (permit to hunt) I follow regulations and only harvest my limit. I waste little of the bird and eat them. The same as I do with other game and fowl.
Just go to the butcher and buy your meat.
I couldn't stand the thought of putting some thing in my mouth that I mangled to death.

Funny thing is most hunters are also the ones giving back to conservation efforts.
Mercedes: you can't just buy duck from a butcher. How do you think the food from your butcher got there? Someone else killed it. No different than me. But in my case I know mine are wild and not plumped full of hormones and potentially toxic substances.

I eat scotch fillet or a t-Bone steak about twice a week for iron because their is more benefits health wise eating good food compared to health pills.
I'm a fish/chicken breast fan.
As I walk to the gym every day twice a day which adds up to 16 miles a day I walk through a beautiful park that has many duck family's.
All I was trying to say is when I eat meat I'm not there to witness the blood and gut's if I did witness it I probably wouldn't eat at all.

My last post on his topic:
Meat gets to the table by an animal being killed. I fail to see how a shotgun shell instantly killing a duck is inhumane. Instant death. No suffering. No different than whatever meat you purchase from the butcher.
