Hi, just found a new easy & very cheap craft called Coffee filter flowers, you can also make some gorgeous wreaths too & saw a garland as well. Super cheap to make & look awesome. Google for images

Is anyone else making these? I'm still in the dieing process of coloring the filters so I haven't put together my flowers yet...I'm getting a good mixure of colors.

Anyone doing this craft want to show or share their ideas?

I don't drink coffee so I have no reason to buy coffee filters.

Sounds interesting, I might try that...I've heard of spraying them with perfume but haven't thought about fabric softener

Dang...only 2 replies? My thread crashed & burned...

I'm going to look these up, Dances.

Oh, and Cup- just because you don't drink coffee doesn't mean you can't buy some filters and try these. A pack of 200 filters is less than a $1.50 @ Wally-World. It would make for inexpensive decorating, and maybe a great gift idea. I prefer homemade gifts to store bought.

msreesi...did you look them up yet? They are very real looking & vibrant aren't they? I just love them. I make my stems by just using a small stick or twig, you can paint green or just leave it natural color. I thought Why go buy something to make stems when nature is right outside & free...esp after it rains I find all sorts of twigs that are perfect for the flower stems

Oh my did I ever stock up on coffee filters! I was having an Alice in Wonderland theme wedding but changed the location to save money. We ended up not using the dyed coffee filters and now I'm cleaning windows with them but I'm interested in the wreath idea. Please I have garbage bags full of them.

Maggie did you find some instructions for doing wreaths?

On someone asking what they look like I just Googled images & went from there, I look for the easiest most durable way of making them. I couldn't follow Martha Stewart...she makes everything so complicated & drawn out. I'll have to look for some links to post here

Sorry for taking so long to answer. A lot has been going on and I forgot.
Yes, I did look them up. They are awesome!

Here's a video I found of how to make them for you all.
