Judo can be an effective if you take into account the counter strikes and submissions that comes about. That will require much training, sparring with other individuals in different forms, and dedication. But you can say that for any martial art.....gamer

It's just that certain styles have more pros or cons than others. That's how MMA came about. Any style can be useful in the right circumstance though.
