Define success. I would have to say yes. I have met more ladies off the internet than certainly at my job, or my hobby, combined.
That being said, I have also met a WHOLE lot of crazies out there. Like the one woman who had a order of protection placed on her. From her ex.
This could only happen to me.

Define success. I would have to say yes. I have met more ladies off the internet than certainly at my job, or my hobby, combined.

This could only happen to me.
I can second that on the crazies. I'm sure it could go both ways as well. I can't count how many times I have been grateful that a first meeting was just over a cup of coffee.

Yeah I see all your points there's a vantages and disadvantages but anyway you go batshit crazy women. I just have a hard time finding someone that wants to be truthful on here Some people just don't understand there is someone out there that will love you for who you are..

a handful have become very good friends.

I think the " dating and meeting is fairly " successful "..
But speaking for myself personally...
although nothing so far " permanent " or " match-made-in-heaven "..
I've dated approximately 20 to 30
gals from this ( DH ) site..
( most I knew from other sites too ) 
and ALL of them were as stated or MORE..!! 
But it may be just me..
I deal in Forensic Data Acquisition
so BEFORE I even email, contact them,
or accept/read a message FROM/to them..
I ALREADY know most everything ABOUT them..
I am REAL careful...
cause with five ex-wives...
I don't needs me ANY more drama..!!

Ive been doing the internet dating thing back when it was just chat rooms on AOL or Compuserve. Then it was just rolling walls of text from a ton of users.....Found my now ex husband online...a few bf's who are now still good friends...but no true match...oh well ...im like the little damn engine that could.

For some, yes it can be.
My man and I are proof. We met a year and a half ago and are still going VERY strong.
We're a DH success story and I know others who are as well.
