yea silly. I bought 2 weeks ago a new, contract free Sony Xperia for 39.90.-
I'm really impressed, huge screen, lightweight, it does all I need and I even haven't charged the battery since!- Even after playing Poker for half an hour...
So yea buying expensive smartphones is simply stupid.

Well I got screwed wont happen again it was my first smart phone and I don't want a huge screen. If anything the IS 4 is better then the newer I's so it seems to have stopped acting up. So I'm gonna pay it off or trade up in a couple months for a Samsung G mini. But not for a gaudy portable TV 7" screen thing. Why do people carry those huge ugly things around with them? I'll just get a freaking tablet!

Thanks for the info. I wondered and have been holding off because I can't afford an expensive mistake.
My son's school gave every student an IPad with the bright idea that it would make them a paperless school. Well guess what?... a lot of kids and their parents are very unhappy and way behind on their school work because they are snafu'd with various problems from it erasing their access to inability to turn pages on texts and or loosing homework. AND the cyber bullying has exploded. Not to mention it is way to easy for "kids" or the minions that want to exploit them to hack them to get into sites young kids should not be. Many of the parents are lost since Mac is well above their pay grade and computer expertise and can't afford to go pow wow with the school computer tutors rather than go to work.
The digital divide is getting bigger an bigger as the poor and technology limited are being sold garbage that lacks the programs or support to keep it running long enough to survive over priced contracts.
I sometimes feel like I should just mail my hard earned money to the hackers or the stock holders directly because before I can get the program learned it is out dated, dropped, or full of viruses.
Think we need to get some kind of truth in advertising/lending enforcement weather it is to start controlling how this stuff is bundled or how you install it. It is sad when you can pay as much as a car payment to end up with zip and be told to like it or lump it for up to two years.

You purchaced an outdated phone. I have the iphone 6 plus and has a fantastic camera. I also owned an ipad air and an ipad mini and it runs flawlessly and the display is outstanding. The tablets are much more reliable and stable than android and windows 7. I do have some issues with my ihone 6 plus but that is only because i purchased one with not enough memory which is my fault.

My phone is about 5 years old, and it's a Windows Phone. It works fine.
No apps, because no one writes apps for Windows Phones anymore. I don't care, it's a phone.

You sound so much like me. Don't you just want to take it and smash it good. I don't have an I phone and never want one, but the mess of a phone I do have makes me want to take a hammer to it. So I surely understand. I hate sales people who want nothing but to get a commission and to heck with customer serivce.

I made an impulse purchase and I will never again. I lost my phone needed one and decided to purchase my fist smart phone no money down contract through AT%T my carrier who I have my internet through currently. I didn't want a huge gaudy 7" screen stupid looking portable Tv looking set thing. And they immediately steered me to an I phone.. Instead of showing me a Samsung galaxy S mini. Which I found out latter I could of bought cheaper and was a much better product. One fuk AT&T ! As soon as I can I'll switch to another carrier just on the principle they misled me and ripped me off. I went back to see if they would deal with me and they would not. Also this piece of shit has dumped my contact list for no freaking reason twice! One more time I take it back to AT&T and toss it against their show room wall and tell every customer in their how much they suck.
Now the I phone 4 S is supposedly actually a better phone then the new I6? My God then what a piece of shit the 6 must be! First I wouldn't even of bought the thing had I known how shitty the camera was! My 30.00 LG flip phone had more options on the cam then this piece of shit. I had to either pay to down load a timer app or get this free piece of shit that bombards me with advertisements! How dare apple sell a phone with such a shitty camera and no timer feature!
How are they still in business? What are their tablets like I wonder especially for what they cost? Why would anyone buy an apple product?  When my contract is done I'm gonna smash this thing into little bits with great enjoyment and send it back to apple in a doggie bag!
I suggest everyone do the same..
You should have told the salesman you really wanted a stupid phone to be safe.
I'm certain Apple knows more about staying in business than you. If you had more smarts yourself, you'd find dozens of camera apps to review but you can't even find the timer on the app that comes with the phone.
It might require some reading on your part but most people find it intuitively.
