To be totally honest, what I look for in a man is kindness and understanding first.
Honesty, supportive, loyalty and similar values. Someone who can stand by his convictions and will not run away over a simple disagreement.
I tend to shy away from bold, showoff types who are too self-centered/ self-pleasing. They tend to be users or addicts.
I am not a big judger when it comes to looks because the actual appearance tends to change as I get to know an individual. A nice face or body will hide a very ugly person for only so long.

At Constantinople Gregory of Nyssa enjoyed the friendship of Olympias, the lady to whom John Chrysostom addressed many letters during his exile, and some years later about the year 389, Gregory dedicated his Commentary on the Canticle of Canticles to her. In commenting on the text of the Canticle (1.14) "Thy eyes are of those of doves" he explains: Thus the beauty of the bride's eyes is praised because of the image of the Dove which appears in her pupils. For we receive within ourselves a likeness of whatever we look upon. Now the man who no longer looks toward flesh and blood, gazes rather on the life of the spirit... for this means that the impression of the spiritual life shines within the clarity of the soul. And when the purified eye of the soul has received the impression of the Dove, it turns to contemplate the Bridegroom's beauty. (Note, For no man can say the Lord Jesus, but by the Holy Spirit)

Manners & morals go a long way for me. Honesty, helpful, affectionate, forgiving, accepting of family. There are many traits, men & women, both need to have.

Respect, integrity, and kindness. The ability to love one another through the good and bad times. The capability to give and to take--by this I mean to be there for one another--sometimes giving 50%-50% and other times being there 80%-20%---and vice versa. It does not work when one does all the giving. One who is able to compromise. A sense of humor--Don't take life so seriously. Someone who knows how to be a best friend--which means--wanting the best for the other person. A love for music and a passionate lover would be the icing on the cake--

many things i look for but am unable to find them..
to start kindness, and has a heart not afraid to show it from male pride..and many more things kinda complex with me.....
