Cable news network Al Jazeera America to shut down 2016-01-13 | WTOP The Al Jazeera America cable news network said Wednesday it will shut down two and a half years after its launch, a victim of a rough business environment and political headwinds it could not conquer. The channel, an offshoot of the Qatar-based Al Jazeera cable network, had trouble persuading cable and satellite companies to carry it, and viewers to watch. It failed despite a promise to offer serious-minded journalism and some award-winning work.
The cable network will shut down on April 30. It launched in October 2013.…

Al Sharpton will be having his passport revoked.
The newest law, signed by chummy buddy racist, President Obama, H.R. 22, takes away passports of those who owe more than $50,000.00 in back taxes. This went into effect on New Year’s Day.
Meh, says the good reverend;
“We’re talking about old taxes. I think it’s political."
Um…tax law, for all of its 100% faults, top to bottom, is still the law at present. He wears the yoke of the ox, and is a beast of indentured servitude just like the rest of us.
He is not above the law. Being a good buddy of Obama’s it’s a wonder he wasn’t excluded from the law.
What do you think the likelihood is of him getting some sort of new Obama style pardon? Perhaps that explains Sharpton's nonchalant attitude.
For now, he either has to pay-up or sit home and stew about it. In the meantime, he is sure to continue his racist chants.
Perhaps even going after the white half of the president who just burdened his high and mighty holy black man reverend self.
Maybe, he will lower himself to consider voting for one of the candidates who seeks to abolish the IRS.

Martin Luther King III Speaks Out Against Black Lives Matter Violence

Martin Luther King Jr’s son, Martin Luther King III, has some words for those people who think that his father would have condoned violence to make a point.
From Washington Times:
On the holiday commemorating his father’s epic civil rights legacy, Martin Luther King III says he is dismayed by recent violence against police, the destructive protests in Ferguson and the trashing of a U.Va. fraternity falsely accused of sexual assault because they don’t reflect his father’s own approach to advocate for change peacefully.
“My father’s approach to the most brutal and unambiguous social injustices during the civil rights struggle was rooted in nonviolence as a morally and tactically correct response,” Mr. King said in an interview with The Washington Times. “In no way do I, nor would my father, condone any ‘ends justify the means’ behavior.”
But recent riots in Ferguson, Missouri, the vengeance killing of two police officers in New York and campus violence at the University of Virginiahave proved that 47 years after the peace activist was assassinated, his message still has not resonated with some.
In late November, undergraduate students at Charlottesville’s University of Virginia resorted to hurling bricks, bottles and concrete blocks through windows at the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity residence after Rolling Stone magazine recklessly accused the house of orchestrating a brutal gang rape. Profane, anti-male epithets were spray-painted across the fraternity’s Colonial brick exterior, and threats of continued violence were levied against university administrators.
In December, the U.Va. student who led the Phi Kappa Psi attack spoke to The Times on the condition of anonymity, saying he was inspired by “the black leaders in Ferguson,” and that their violent attack was warranted because “the ends justified the means.”
Martin Luther King III was one of those leaders. He traveled to Missouri to attend Michael Brown’s funeral in August.
But when The Times told Mr. King about the student’s comments, he said that using violence to correct perceived social injustices was “socially destructive” and “self-defeating.”
Mr. King said his father “pointed out in a very real sense that such [violent] acts may be considered the language of the unheard.”
As an alternative remedy, Mr. King said, communication and dialogue were key.
“I would say to these young people, you are not unheard. Your disillusionment deserves to be addressed inside and outside theuniversity through cross-cultural dialogue, which should include a greater understanding of oppression,” he said. “Only then can your anger be positively redirected through the time-honored process of nonviolence my father utilized to obtain his greatest moral victories in seeking justice and fairness for all.”
Much like his father, Mr. King has long been an advocate of communication between rival political organizations and movements.
On May 9, Mr. King shocked an MSNBC host during an interview when he suggested that liberal and left-leaning blacks reach out to members of the tea party as a means of understanding each other.
Awesome message from MLK III and it is nice to see that many members of the black community, including prominent ones like him, are advocating for a dialogue instead of marching down the street talking about frying the pigs (cops) like bacon.
We all can learn a lot from Martin Luther King Jr. and hopefully we can start toning down some of this ugly racial rhetoric and actually start working on these deep seeded issues as a community.

case one in Canada.

Foreign oligarchs and governments, then donate to this
Canadian charity. In this case, over 1,000
did -- contributing mega millions. I'm sure they
did this out of the goodness of their hearts, and
expected nothing in return. (Imagine Putin's buddies waking up
one morning and just deciding to send untold millions to
a Canadian charity).
3.
The Canadian charity then bundles these separate
donations and makes a massive donation to
the Clinton Foundation.
4.
The
Clinton Foundation and the cooperating Canadian charity
claim Canadian law prohibits the identification of
individual donors.
5.
The Clinton Foundation then "spends" some of this
money for legitimate good works programs. Unfortunately,
experts believe this is on the order of 10%. Much of the
balance goes to enrich the Clinton's, pay
salaries To untold numbers of hangers
on, and fund lavish travel, etc. Again, virtually all
tax free, which means you and I are
subsidizing it.
6.
The
Clinton Foundation, with access to the world's best
accountants, somehow fails to report much of this
on their tax filings. They discover these
"clerical errors" and begin the process of
re-filing 5 years of tax returns.
7.
Net
result -- foreign money, much of it from other
countries, goes into the Clinton's pockets tax free and
untraceable back to the original donor. This is the
textbook definition of money
laundering.
Oh,
by the way, the Canadian "charity" includes as a principal one
Frank Giustra. Google him. He is the guy who was
central to the formation of Uranium One, the Canadian
company that somehow acquired massive U.S. Uranium interests
and then sold
them to an organization controlled by Russia.
This
transaction required U.S. State Department approval, and
guess
who was Secretary of State when the approval was
granted.
As
an aside, imagine how former Virginia Governor Bob
McDonnell feels. That poor schlep is in jail because he and
his wife took $165,000 in gifts and loans for doing minor
favors for a guy promoting a vitamin company. Not legal
but not exactly putting U.S. Security t risk.
Sarcasm
aside, if you're still not persuaded this was a cleverly
structured way to get unidentified foreign money to the
Clinton's, ask yourself this:
Why did these foreign
interests funnel money through a Canadian charity? Why not
donate directly to the Clinton Foundation? Better yet,
why not donate money directly to the people,
organizations and countries in need?
This
is the essence of money laundering and influence
peddling.
Now
you know why Hillary's destruction of 30,000 e-mails was
a risk she was willing to take.
Bill
and Hillary are devious, unprincipled, dishonest and criminal,
and they are Slick!
Warning:
They could be back in the White House in January 2017.
Don't let it happen.
Remember,
most people are not well informed. You must inform and
educate them.

‘Warming Station’ Taken Away From Homeless Because Bernie Sanders Campaign Needed It

However, controversy arose when news broke that the self-proclaimed socialist candidate’s rally resulted in the homeless being kicked out of a cold-weather refuge, or ‘warming station,’ that had been planned for the same location:
Sanders has not – at the time of publication – commented on the unfortunate situation.
Don Lupo, Director, Mayor’s Office of Citizens Assistance at City of Birmingham, was quick to clarify that it was not the campaign’s fault:
Lupo noted that measures were taken to help get people in need of warmth to a shelter and that a larger conversation needed to be had about what is actually a year-round problem for the city. He emphasized “there was no one to be mad at.”
Many are distraught by what they say is poor planning on the city’s part; the closure was not the first the city’s homeless have faced in this winter’s cold nights:

“Black Voters Are White Progressives’ Battered Spouse”
When asked why I became a conservative, I always give a one-word answer: Detroit. The place where I was born, the town of my mother and my grandmother before her, is a ravaged, decayed moral abyss.
The tree-lined streets and city parks are today filled with debris, graffiti and uncut grass covering the rusted swing sets. Children attend schools built early in the last century with leaky ceilings, decades-old textbooks and mushrooms literally growing in bathrooms. Streetlights work and trash is picked up. Occasionally. And not a single movie theatre or department store exists within the city limits. Detroit is hardly unique in urban America, the bastion of progressive rule for more than 60 years.
National Review columnist David French aptly describes the dysfunctional relationship between black urban dwellers who continue to support leftist political machines picking from the carcass of their crumbling cities. The fault for this, he notes, is not “white America’s":
“Black voters are not pawns to ‘messaging.’ They’re human beings fully responsible for their own mistakes, and ever since Martin Luther King, Jr.’s horrifying death, a collection of race profiteers and carnival barkers have exercised wildly disproportionate influence over African-American politics.”

In a rare interview, Linda Tripp, a pivotal figure in the Monica Lewinsky scandal, revealed on Sunday it was common knowledge while she worked in the West Wing that Bill Clinton had affairs with “many of women.”
Speaking on “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio,” Tripp for the first time divulged that she personally knew another White House staffer aside from Lewinsky who was also having an affair with Clinton. That unnamed staffer was mentioned by Tripp in various depositions but she has not spoken about it publicly.
She charged that Hillary Clinton not only knew about her husband’s exploits, “She made it her personal mission to disseminate information and destroy the women with whom he dallied.”
Tripp says she cringes at the sight of Clinton presenting herself as “a champion of women’s rights worldwide in a global fashion, and yet all of the women she has destroyed over the years to ensure her political viability continues is sickening to me.”
Tripp documented evidence of Lewinsky’s phone calls about her relationship with Bill Clinton and submitted the evidence to independent counsel Kenneth Starr, leading to the public disclosure of the affair. She explained to Klein that she did so because she believed her own life and Lewinsky’s were in danger, saying that Lewinsky was threatening Clinton with outing the relationship.
Tripp also used the interview to criticize what she says is the news media’s unwillingness to investigate the Clintons. She singled out and thanked Matt Drudge of the Drudge Report, declaring that without him “things would have been very, very different.”
Drudge’s website was the first media outlet to break the Lewinsky scandal after Newsweek sat on the story.
Tripp had unique access to the Clintons because her office was directly adjacent to Hillary’s second floor West Wing office for the entire time she served in the Clinton White House from 1993 to the summer of 1994 with the exception of the first three months of the Clinton administration, when she sat just outside the Oval Office.
Tripp’s nonpartisan position was a carryover from the George H. W. Bush administration in which she served...

Actress and Fox News contributor Stacey Dash says it’s “ludicrous” for black entertainers to call for a boycott of the Oscars for not nominating black performers while simultaneously supporting the BET and NAACP Awards which only recognize black artists.
“I think it’s ludicrous. We have to make up our minds. Either we want to have segregation or integration,” Dash said Wednesday on Fox and Friends.
“If we don’t want segregation then we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the [NCAAP] Image Awards where you’re only awarded if you’re black. If it were the other way around, we’d be up in arms.”
Since last week’s release of the 88th Academy Award nominees, calls for a boycott have come from filmmaker Spike Lee, actress Jada Pinkett Smith, and documentary filmmaker Michael Moore, among others. Al Sharpton is leading the charge behind a nationwide boycott of the show.
“It’s a double standard,” Dash added. “Just like there shouldn’t be a black history month. We’re Americans, period.”

“We, the grassroots activists of the National Black Republican Association, are pleased to announce our endorsement of Donald J. Trump for President of the United States of America,” the statement read.
The organization, which was founded in 2005 and “is committed to returning African-Americans to their Republican Party roots,” said that Donald Trump would be the best candidate to do that.
“As citizens who happen to be black, we support Mr. Trump because he shares our values,” the statement read. “We, like Mr. Trump, are fiscally conservative, steadfastly pro-life and believers in a small government that fosters freedom for individuals and businesses, so they can grow and become prosperous.”
The statement also praised Trump for his attention to an issue often overlooked by politicians looking to help the African-American community: stopping illegal immigration.
“We are deeply concerned about illegal immigration, a major cause of high black unemployment, especially among black youth,” the statement read.
“Black Americans across America are beginning to wake up and see clearly the reality of what is happening in black neighborhoods. Democrats have run black communities for the past 60 years and the socialist policies of the Democrats have turned those communities into economic and social wastelands, witness Detroit, Baltimore and South Chicago.
“We believe that Mr. Trump has demonstrated that he can push back against the mainstream media, end political correctness and free black communities from the destructive grip of socialist Democrats.”
The endorsement closed with a plea to black voters to reject their pattern of voting for Democrats:
“We urge our fellow black Americans to seize control over their own destiny and leverage their vote the way other groups do. It is way past time black Americans stop having their vote taken for granted by Democrats, hold politicians accountable for the content of their policies and not vote merely based on the label of their party.”
We’ve already chronicled Trump’s success with black voters relative to other Republican candidates and the fact that Trump predicted that he would win the black vote. Could this be a demographic turning point for the 2016 election? Only time will tell.
One thing’s for certain, though: Donald Trump continues to make waves.

Since 9/11 liberals have made it clear in a thousand little ways that they are just not willing to resist a suicide-bombing enemy.
The same people who argue that jihadists are freedom fighters (or that the United States should not have invaded Afghanistan after 9/11) would also be appeasing Hitler and Nazi Germany, and this incredible footage proves it.
When you watch the video it becomes clear one thing hasn’t changed at all. Liberal pacifists are selfish and short on logic as well as human compassion for other human beings suffering from evil doers of the time.
