I have recently that involve with a 35 year old lady with 3 kids. The kids are great but sometimes I feel obligated. To be a father figure. But today I got a text from her asking can I pay her phone bill? That's not a problem .but the problem is you're 35 with 3 kids you can come up with $45 to pay your phone bill?
Is it something I'm missing here or what? I feel like she lost and need guidance. Or I'm her new ATM Machine

Sounds like she want's to make you her new atm machine the question is will you accept? I am 23 and have been paying my cell phone bill since I first got a cell at 17. I think you can do better but that's just me perhaps you like the idea of being an atm machine

Ohh okay that's a good question to ask btw how long have you and this lady been involved for you to feel "obligated"? I can understand being married and feeling obligated because she would be your wife. But if she is just your girlfriend not really much unless you feel bad and want to help out.

Not married to her we been talking for some time. I didn't ask about the kids because it doesn't matter to me not my responsibility. She a grow adult I was just surprise she ask.

Well she has 3 kids if they live with her means she is getting child support (some do), if she works that means she had a paycheck stream, and if you would like to be a source of income go ahead pay the bill.
You aren't married she isn't your wife if you don't want too you have no obligation to support her. If you want too and assist you can do so. Do whatever you feel like doing let us know how it goes.

She said a friend loaned her the money. And she told me not to worry? But I can't help it I always worry. She works so I don't see how she doesn't have the money to pay it. No, I don't think you were a tush for saying no about paying the bill. I think you were honest about your feelings and you knew she had a job, and could afford it herself. You probably didn't want to be used... And asking once and saying yes could lead to more asking. You just weren't wanting to become an atm machine.

Well after a 2 hour talk I have came to a conclusion. That friends we will be. She's lost. boy Jack Daniels Will squeeze the truth out of you. Talk when from good to an emotional wreck! It sad to see such a beautiful person. with a broken heart and her soul is dirtier than the Mississippi River!!! I have been raised to be a gentleman so I will stay friends with her. But let's just put it this way she's not ready for a relationship. She's ready for counseling. So the talk didn't go good And now she's emotionally drunk at my house. so thanks to everybody for the advice! I'm I am running away!!!!
