Starting to give up on mama cat. Steamboat has been gone for 3-4 days now. Searched and cant find her. I called and left a message with humane society in case she got dumped there. I wonder if the bleeding a time back was sex or maybe was a hemorrhage. I know she grumbled a lot when picked up sometimes. And has a sore on leg that never healed. So maybe... Sad. She was a nice cat. Guess I have to be content with her 4 kids. Til they vanish.

I am sorry your Mama cat disappeared Miss Orz. That sucks. People say "It's just a farm cat". Yea, and your point is? Farm cats are special in that they choose you. They can leave at any time, but they choose you. So, in that way, farm cats are truly special.
All of my cats have been from a farm. My new kitten, Shadow, was born outside in the horse barn. They brought the litter in the house because there was a stray Tom hanging around that was killing kittens. I took her home at about 8 weeks. She is just coming up on 6 months. She has an awesome personality and can be a spitfire one minute and a love bug the next. She does not like letting me out of her site. When I use the main floor bathroom, she sits outside the door and sticks her paws under the door. She sleeps on my chest in the recliner and wraps her front legs around my forearm.
That is my little farm cat. Can you tell I kinda like her???
