Well resident evil wise 0, res evil 1,2,3 Veronica x,
Silent hill series- 1,2, the room, and if you haven't tried the silent hills playable trailer I strongly recommend it.
Parasite eve 1,2
There's some others but those are the ones that jump off my head lol.

yeah always been a big fan of Resident Evil. The 2nd one was the best. That's what got me into horror games. I haven't yet played the Silent Hill games but I should get on it tho.

Haven't played horror games since RE4 which disappointed me greatly. 5 looked like shit and I gave up on the entire franchise. Silent Hill looks interesting but eh...
As for new games, I doubt very much that I will ever get a PS4 or any other new console. I've looked at the recent games coming out and they're all shit. Pure unmitigated shit. It's like they forgot how to make good games.

Survival horror are my favorite genre of video games to play. As someone already mentioned ,The Deadspace series of games are awesome and scary. I just started playing Resident Evil Revelations 2 it's good so far. I also recommend 5 Nights @ Freddy's.

On the other hand I hope they make a sequel to the evil within just finished the dlc reccomend it to anyone who was confused with the story cause it clears up some points with Kidman.

The Walking Dead is good.
Silent Hill 2 is my favorite out of the Silent Hill series. 4 the Room, and for PSP Silent Hill Orgins.
Resident Evil Revelations and Mercenaries for 3DSXL.
Dementium for DS is pretty good. Dementium II.
CastleVania all of them. Though they're not horror it's gore and Vampiric. Award winning series been out since Mario.

heh, the best was resident evil 1. The dog jumping out of the window in that first hallway made the entire game, everything else was just gravy.
Silent hill really doesn't do it for me, but ive seen a few others that look good.
Oddly enough, i have seen many flash games in this genre, some of which were fantastic.
I thoroughly enjoyed the deepest sleep series.
