Had to trek to Connecticut today. Took the bike and I use a Escort radar detector. New Cadillacs use K band radar to sense traffic close to them. I thought I may start sensing this system with my detector and this is the first time I have. I don't think being BATHED in microwave energy for long periods of time is a good idea. I suppose Cadillac owner's don't mind missing a few MORE brain cells every time they go for a drive.

Since I have a CDL license, and desperately need to keep said license to stay employed, I don't speed. Matter of fact, I now have become that old man who's cruise control is locked in exactly at the posted speed limit.
I just give myself more time to get to my destinations. Also, I can thoroughly enjoy my XM radio in the process.
If and when I feel the need to go fast, an airplane is in order. No cops running radar up there. Well, actually, there is. But the planes I fly won't hit those limits.

Microwaves are not good for health. That is the point of the post. HF radio emissions above the VHF band are bad, uhm kay.

While they may be bad for us what can you honestly do about it? Not much!
Even if you were to have a voice on microwaves being used in cars. The big corporations would show some bogus statistic that states it is not strong enough to cause any ill effect on humans.

What can you do? Don't work, ride, hang out where these devices are used. Brief exposer is safe, sitting in a microwave for 8 hours is not. Though, people who buy Cadillacs are not too sharp. Ever work on one or have to talk to a Cadillac owner?

Yes i have worked on them and spoke to many people who own them. Your answer though is not a solution to the problem you are pointing out. Cadillacs are a very popular car and there are lots of them in everyday commuting. So to not be around one while traffic is inevitable. The solution would be to get car manufacturers to stop using that type technology. But let's face it microwaves being used in cars is a minute threat compared to other bigger problems with the way our country is headed. Like GMO's for one.

Cadillac owners must have an IQ less than 100. It is in the sales contract.
