Gotta blame something for discontent, so why not a piece of cloth? Next it's going to be white sheets because it resenbles KKK. Then there's country ham, grits, and gravy because it's southern food. Of all the issues we have that really make our lives a mess, concentrate on something that was established so long ago. ???
Why not raise a fuss over something current such as needle exchange for drug users while the aged can't afford the test strips for diabetes testing.

Politics is so stupid it isn't even funny. It's like a game show with contestents instead of candidates. Who is going to win the prize (big salary, lots of benefits, white washing the issues). Once election day is over, they forget there are people they are supposed to represent and/or promises made during campaign. They insult our intelligence.
What about all the hassling over "whether or not KY has a casino". Hasn't a one of them looked at the real picture. We can drive across the state line, and put our coins into a machine all day (if our pockets can stand it that long) but NO, not in KY. How much money is spent each day across the state line because of it?
Ky residents have to have a license if we own a boat. Then look at the marina's and see how many have out of state license, but not with KY and they stay on our waters all summer. Not pointing at out of state people because they do spend their dollars here, but is it fair for those of us who pay our taxes to live here?
I could go on and on, but what good would it do. Just bore you to death.
Have a good day. Make noise where you can because I'm told it's the squeaky wheel that gets the oil.

For all you smart people who aren't smart enough to realize that damn flag is about HATE!
It has no business on State Capitols!
Thousands of 5th graders go on field trips to their State Capitols every year.
It is in the name of pride that the folks who don't want that flag taken down have proclaimed that it's a symbol of heritage.
I wish to ask those people, is your heritage so important that you can allow that 'heritage', your 'pride' to fly in the face of black politicians, black law makers, and black State House administration employees. Is it so important that you can allow this 'symbol of heritage' to fly in the face of black teachers, black elementary school students who all take field trips there and have to walk right by it?
It is because of a certain pride that THAT FLAG has for a very long time injured the pride of a minority group of fellow Americans. And that just isn't right.
Proverbs 16:18
'Pride goeth before destruction, and a jaunty spirit before a fall'
People go to museums to learn of heritage, not to the Statehouse.
