- smiling shoulders up head shot as a main
- more photos (no selfies, please)
- hide your income - it's nobody's business
- what do you do for a living? "self employed" is pretty vague
- expand on your profile to include what you are hoping to get out of this site- random dating only, ultimately one great lady...
- it would appear you would date a college co-ed and her mom. Ew. Don't be that guy.
- are you really 5'5"? If yes, more full length shots are needed. That alone could be enough for someone to pass you by (yes, it's just that superficial online)
- once you get a profile with more information, consider other free adult online dating sites like Plenty of Fish. It has a better psycho-to-normal ratio than this cesspool.
The goal here is not to get 'friends', but to start conversations with the intent to meet someone. You should already have 'friends'.

You're not making yourself stand out at all with what you have in your bio. And even if it's only friends that you are looking for, people want to see people who look interesting and might be fun to be around.
Expound more on your profile with that in mind, and take the advice already given to make yourself more appealing in general.
Also make your age range more realistic; you should go about 10 years in both directions from your own age.
I also agree that your pics should be re-done completely.

Lose the shirtless selfie. Never a good look. Fix age range. About me section still needs work. Off to a good start but add more to it. Keep it positive. Good luck in your search.

Why did one of the posters think you are 5'5"? Your profile states 5'10". Does your post history give you away?
Either way, more photos, headshots and full length, will help. Fill up the gallery if you can.
That chain saw carving sounds interesting. Elaborating on that might entice an artistic/creative minded woman to engage you in conversation. Which could possibly lead to a date. A pic or two of your sculptures would be cool too. Just don't get carried away. The majority of your photos do need to be of you...only you.

Agree that your bio is painfully generic.
Agree that your only photo isn't your best. You're not smili and you're not looking at the camera, which can be misinterpreted.
