wish that when a gentleman sending me an email on DH and saying that they looked at my profile, had actually looked at it. Makes me think they are nothing but a scammer

I agree. If not scammers they are scanners picking out the pictures that are attractive and sending the same message. 
Right now I am craving a cheeseburger pizza.. Rather funny to want one this early..

There is an educated mouse that has taken up residence in my home. With the kitty
cats around one would think he would not be living here long but that smart mouse has
escaped them every time. I do not think the mouse will do so for long, though. I hope not.

I once had a chocolate siamese who was not a mouser by any stretch of the imagination. We put him right in FRONT of a mouse and he just sat there and watched him run to safety. Don't know what Little Man (current cat) would do if he saw a mouse. Prolly would be just as submissive as he is with my dog (Ms Penny). He is bigger than the dog and both are only a few months apart in age and raised together since they left their Mama's. I wish Little Man would give Ms P her come uppance just once instead of her always being the disciplinarian. For some reason she has to get her two cents in everytime I scold him. Sometimes to the point of pulling a MOUTH full of fur out of the cat.

Being rough with a cat will only cause resentment from the cat. Patience, love
and a gentle ways are the best.

I don't think Little Man has a mean bone in his body. For some reason he is very submissive. Just had a thought....maybe because he was the runt in the litter, but he sure isn't the runt anymore. The only time he gets testy is when you try to run your hand down his back or pet his tummy if he does not know you. Only likes his head petted by strangers. Come to think of it it has taken ME 8 years to be able to do pet him anywhere on his body. He (and Ms P) have had nothing but love and affection since the first day they walked into my home. So much so that when I raise my voice to Ms P when she gets rough with Little Man her lower jaw will quiver, like "o chit what did I do, I'm sorry."

The animal world always fascinates me. I had a little dog that lived to be 20 years.
A cat that was very protective over the little dog and would chase any animal
away that bothered the little dog.

Ms P seems to think that it is her job to discipline Little Man when he does something wrong or if she percieves it to be wrong. I should have named her "two cents" instead of Penny. She always has to get her 2 cents in.
She is really a good dog and was very concerned one evening when I had a bad coughing spell that led to my not being able to breath. She was right there by my side trying to calm me down with my daughters help.
