Sometimes, education is needed to decipher what is really being said or how it is being said. I have been told, by more than one girlfriend, that I am too smart for most women. Considering how many have tried to pull the wool over my eyes, I believe these previously enjoyed companion's observations to be accurate. Well being able to have money is a plus because we want a partner not a child we have to take care of. To me they dont have to make a lot of money or enough to be able to support me or anything,I have my own money,but its more of a we want someone who doesnt just expect us to pay for everything, it should be equal. However having money isn't a number one for me,it just shows that they can take care of them self.

There are women who have a long wish list, and if some guy comes along who fills most of it, these types of women think they can just magically give their love to him. To me...that's not real and legit feelings. Even if it feels like it is to them at that time. Because if it turns out this "image" of him doesn't quite pan out exactly as she saw in the beginning, these types can turn off that love like a light switch as fast as it came on. That's not real love...he was simply a commodity that filled her wish list., which basically is a continuation of all the things that came at her from day one...without having to give anything but exist to get. I can't speak for all men, just the ones I've known and myself....with us....the feelings just happened and its not like we had control over them....to me that's real. Moving on....to me the next most important things fall under compatibility. The first being the capacity to love and show it....meaning how deep and how much you show it...if you get a person who doesn't show it as much and needs a lot a space, and just doesn't fall as deep, and prioritizes so many other things...they are not going to mix well, with a person the opposite way, and vice versa and this will cause major problems. Sexual compatibility might be the next one....because if you are sexually compatible and sex comprises of more than just physical.....then you are romantically compatible too...and if its great sex....then you can both communicate well too and I'd think that emotional availability might come into play here too. ....and without sexual compatibility....again there will be problems. Things like loyalty, beliefs, morals, etc, etc, etc, etc....all fall under one category to me... a persons character....So character would be a compatibility in itself. The next one...is having enough common interest to enjoy time together....this can include things you go and do, hobby's T.V.s show and music. In all the above..with the exception of real feelings and loyalty.....I don't think you have to be exactly alike....just close enough for it to work. The op listed 4 things.....looks and the finances being half of her equation, I'm sure that got enough men to thinking....typical woman, things that shouldn't be that important....but they all do think looks and money are so important... I think there does have to be attraction....but that doesn't mean they are traditionally attractive in general to the public. And money is important, so they both bring something to the table money wise and so that lack of money to get by on...doesn't become a factor. and that's that....to me. If we are going by looks...than that means how they look without any make up...or hair dye...because that's not their natural looks.
