The young couple who bought the five ac. with home across the street. Are now putting in new windows. They have really been working and pouring a lot on money into it. I hope it is where they will want to live for a long time and the effort will not be lost for them. They seem like a nice pair. When we moved here we were the young kids on the block. Now I am that nosey old lady across the street. All the others are young. And I do mean OLD ha..... Time marches on. I love it.

I think I already posted, 'tis the season for boy deer in rut...

And with that, sometimes Mom's are chased away from their babies...

Had a yearling hanging out in the yard yesterday, waiting for Mom to come back...

Cotton was on her princess pillow watching out the slider window...

The yearling, having been here many times with Mom, knows the girls...

For the longest time, the yearling and Cotton had a stare down...

Nubbins on the top of his head. He'll get his horns next year...

He wanted to play. He'd bound off a short way, stop, turn around, peak out from around a bush... as if to say... c'mon, chase me...

This went on for a while, 'till... Cotton got bored, (yawn) as cats will do, and decided to go elsewhere...

Mom showed up later...
