Had a 50 ton Ships Master License for ten years, but mainly blew around Gators in the Florida swamps...airboats were my specialty and trapping and guiding hunts for the big Alligators was my game. Did a little longlining for butts in the gulf of Alaska also.

been in two hurricanes at sea. about it never much at sea. worked on shoreline 7 / 12-18-72 hours a day for 3 years straight on buc reactors on subs.

Yeah, many sailors pass this way.
I guess most like sailing around the world.
Most of them leave their families at home and sail with vagabonds.
