The "President", congress, the senate, the Supreme Court, interns, cabinet members, spouses, mistresses, the prostitutes that service the politicians, grounds keepers, bus boys, the "climate change" idiots, the DC gun grabbers, the bartenders that service the politicians, the IRS, the whole damn shooting match should be drug tested at their own expense.
Anyone that fails the test gets a free trip to Syria.
I like that idea!
Maybe Trump or Cruz could run on that!

$50 lesson
Recently, while I was working in the flower beds in the front yard, my neighbors stopped to chat as they returned home from walking their dog. During our friendly conversation, I asked their little girl what she wanted to be when she grew up.
She said she wanted to be President someday. Both of her parents, Democratic Party members, were standing there so I asked her, "If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?"
She replied... "I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people." Her parents beamed with pride!
"Wow...what a worthy goal!" I said ..... "But you don't have to wait until you're President to do that!"
"What do you mean?" she replied.
So I told her, "You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds, and trim my hedge, and I'll pay you $50. Then you can go over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward food and a newhouse."
She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, "Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?"
I said, "Welcome to the Republican Party." Her parents aren't speaking to me anymore.

If you thought Bernie Sanders had more integrity than the average politician, that goes out the window today when Sanders meets with Al Sharpton, seeking Sharpton’s endorsement for President.
http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2016/02/09/bernie-sanders-al-sharpton-meeting/
Pundits say Bernie Sanders won’t win any more states after New Hampshire last night. But as Jay Leno points out, Sanders isn’t so radically different than the guy in the White House now.

Democrats say every vote counts. Somehow that doesn't apply to Bernie Sanders.

Four MSNBC Stars Do Not Pay Their Taxes
by John Nolte22 Apr 20155,710
National Review’s Jillian Kay Melchior reported Wednesday that, along with Al Sharpton and Melissa Harris-Perry, two more MSNBC stars are not paying their fair share of taxes. Touré Neblett, co-host of “The Cycle” owes the IRS a cool $59,000. Joy-Ann Reid, a former anchor and now a regular contributor to the “Lien” Forward network, owes New York almost $5,000 in back taxes.
As we reported last week, Melissa Harris-Perry owes the IRS $70,000. Al Sharpton’s tax bill is upwards of $3 – $4 million.
The fact that four MSNBC stars, all of whom must earn a pretty sweet 1% living, do not pay their taxes, should surprise no one. The Left is now officially the Do-As-I-Say-Not-As-I-Do Party on all issues, not just taxes, but also feminism, the environment, political contributions, and corporate windfalls.
As long as your politics are correct, if you are a Leftist-in-good-standing, no one in the media or on the Left cares about your hypocrisy. NRO’s Victor Davis Hanson laid this out brilliantly Monday:
Frequent White House guest Al Sharpton is a tax cheat, a homophobe, and an inciter of riot and mayhem, with a long history of racial disparagement. But he knows that all that private sin is contextualized by his loud sermonizing on the supposed racism of white America. Eric Holder can fly his daughters and their boyfriends to the Belmont Stakes on a government jet — but only because he is Eric Holder, who periodically blasts America’s supposed ethical reactionaries. …
Al Gore is so worried about how corporate culture promotes damage to the planet that he was forced to rake in hundreds of millions of dollars for his own green corporations to warn us about other such cynics. He is so shocked about CO2 emissions and the global petroleum culture that he unloaded his underperforming and overpriced cable channel to a carbon-exporting, anti-Jewish autocratic sheikhdom that paid him handsomely with its petrodollars. …
Michelle and Barack Obama are so concerned about global warming that not long ago they left two huge carbon footprints, when simultaneously they took separate government jumbo jets to fly out to Los Angeles to appear on separate talk shows. This was worthy of Leonardo DiCaprio, who on his private jet flew to conferences on the carbon excesses of hoi polloi. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is so committed to a fair and just society where egalitarianism is the shared goal, and where we assume that no one creates anything without the government, that she and her husband often augmented the generous incomes from their Harvard law professorships with lucrative corporate consulting to achieve 1 percenter status, with nearly $1 million in annual income.
Out of one side of her mouth, Hillary Clinton blasts money in politics while planning on raising a record $2.5 billion to become president. And how about the fact that her husband, a Neanderthal when it comes to women, passes muster with feminists.
This is how leftists govern: Rules are for little people.

Bernie Sanders Didn’t Earn A Paycheck Until He Turned 40. No Wonder Millennials Love Him So Much.
2016: Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders said Monday his parents would never have thought their son would end up in the Senate and running for president. No kidding. He was a ne’er-do-well into his late 30s.
“It’s certainly something that I don’t think they ever believed would’ve happened,” the unabashed socialist remarked during CNN’s Democratic town hall forum, as polls show him taking the lead in Iowa and New Hampshire.
He explained his family couldn’t imagine his “success,” because “my brother and I and Mom and Dad grew up in a three-and-a-half-room rent-controlled apartment in Brooklyn, and we never had a whole lot of money.”
It wasn’t as bad as he says. His family managed to send him to the University of Chicago. Despite a prestigious degree, however, Sanders failed to earn a living, even as an adult. It took him 40 years to collect his first steady paycheck — and it was a government check.
Sanders spent most of his life as an angry radical and agitator who never accomplished much of anything. And yet now he thinks he deserves the power to run your life and your finances — “We will raise taxes;” he confirmed Monday, “yes, we will.”
One of his first jobs was registering people for food stamps, and it was all downhill from there.
The article goes on to explain that Bernie tried a few different career paths and basically sucked at all of them. Friends described him as a “slob” and said his electricity was always turned off and he could rarely make rent. The only thing he was good at was expounding the virtues of socialism and complaining about how American capitalistic greed was to blame for all poverty, everywhere. Which I guess was enough to become elected mayor of Burlington, Vermont at age 40, which is when he started earning a steady paycheck – the first in his life.
There you go. Thousands of college kids getting pointless degrees in gender studies and crying about trigger warnings and are unable to get an Actual Job to pay back the hundreds of thousands of dollars in student loan debt are flocking to a deranged old man who only got a steady paycheck because he convinced people to elect him mayor (which makes me wonder – what were the citizens of Burlington smoking that election year?)
Basically, if Bernie Sanders can get by in life without a job or responsibilities and let taxpayers pay his own way, and then run for president, there is hope for the hipster generation crying out for “free” college and “free” healthcare and higher taxes to pay for all this free crap. They should start a club: Bums and Freeloaders for Socialism! Losers Electing Losers! Yay!
The IBD article summarizes the 2016 election thusly and I think they hit the nail on the head –
Sure, Sanders may not be a hypocrite, but this is nothing to brag about. His worthless background contrasts sharply with the successful careers of other “outsiders” in the race for the White House, including a billionaire developer, a world-renowned neurosurgeon and a Fortune 500 CEO.
The choice in this election is shaping up to be a very clear one. It will likely boil down to a battle between those who create and produce wealth, and those who take it and redistribute it.
It’s Makers vs. Takers this year. And considering how easy it is to take rather than make…
We are so doomed.

Kanye West reveals he’s $53 million in debt, asks Mark Zuckerberg for money
By Variety StaffPublished February 15, 2016
It wouldn’t be a true week of Kanye West promotions without some head-scratching moments, including a Bill Cosby endorsement and another Taylor Swift feud.
But on Saturday night, prior to releasing his eighth studio album and performing on “Saturday Night Live,” the rapper announced to his Twitter followers perhaps the biggest shocker of all: He’s $53 million in debt.
The 38 year-old rapper made the disclosure shortly before the highly-anticipated album premiered exclusively on Tidal and his website.
The “Life of Pablo” album download, however, was immediately taken down Sunday after less than 12 hours online, with West explaining that he’d given the exclusive stream to Tidal for another week before going on sale to other outlets — a sign that the multi-Grammy-winner was likely in dire straits.
“I write this to you my brothers while still 53 million dollars in personal debt,” he wrote on Saturday. “Please pray we overcome… This is my true heart.”
After the “Life of Pablo” download link vanished on Sunday, he wrote: “Please for all music lovers. Please subscribe to tidal!!! I decided not to sell my album for another week. Please subscribe to tidal.”
Tidal, the Jay-Z backed streaming service, recently paid Rihanna an undisclosed fee for her latest album, “Anti,” though the February release was bungled when someone inside her camp leaked it online. Samsung reportedly paid $25 million to be a part of the campaign.
West, who’s married to reality TV superstar Kim Kardashian, has been putting tens of millions into his fashion label. According to Business Insider, his latest clothing line is selling high-end coats and jackets for as much as $3,000 to $4,000. The Kanye sweatpants alone cost $510.
In a 2015 interview with BET, the controversial rapper said he incurred $16 million in debut from his fashion business.
“I was trying to play a sport that’s a billionaire sport. It’s not a millionaire sport and I’m proud of the debt,” he boasted.
On Sunday morning, West tweeted that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerburg should invest $1 billion in his ideas because he is “the greatest living artist and the greatest artist of all time.”
In yet another strange twist in the Kanye-“Life of Pablo” saga, pharmaceutical exec Martin Shkreli claimed he had been scammed out of $15 million in an attempt to buy exclusive rights to West’s new album.
“Someone named Daquan said he was Kanye’s boy and I signed the deal to buy ‘Pablo’ and sent the Bitcoin. Call the police, this is b——t,” he wrote.
Shkreli, who was recently arrested on securities fraud charges, told his Twitter followers on Sunday that he’d been in touch with Bitcoin founder Satoshi Nakamoto, who promised to get his money back.

We are so doomed.
Only if good men and women sit on their fat asses and do nothing. How many Americans died fighting in defense of our precious nation so that WE could live in relative freedom?
I, as a member of Oath Keepers, will fight to the death if necessary to save America from the despots that are intent on destroying her. How could I ever look my kids in the eye and tell them I did nothing while America burned and obama fiddled? I couldn't. And I won't.
In 1975, I took a sacred oath to protect and defend America from all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC.
That oath never expires.
There are millions just like me. At least two of them are regular posters here. If the liberals think they will just roll in and destroy our liberties, they are wrong.
DEAD WRONG!

Show THIS to Liberals The Next Time They Say ‘Koch Brothers’ [MEME]
From American Thinker:
Democrats have been whining about big money controlling politics and elections for years. Billionaires on both sides support candidates and issues with billions in funds.
But there is a growing consensus among political professionals that just because a billionaire is in your corner, there is no guarantee that you will get the election outcome you seek.
On the surface, this is a no-brainer. There are many instances in each election cycle where the better-funded candidate lost out to someone who raised a fraction of the big spender. But the myth has taken hold among the public – thanks to a well-orchestrated campaign by Democrats to delegitimize Republican candidates accepting money from rich donors – that the super-rich are trying to “buy” elections and that they are generally successsful.”
Reuters:
“There’s growing public awareness about rich people trying to buy elections and that makes the task of winning all the more difficult,” said Darrell West, the author of “Billionaires: Reflections on the Upper Crust,” and the director of governance studies at the Brookings Institution think tank.
Potential big donors dispute the notion they are trying to buy elections and say they are simply using their positions to try to influence the future of the country in a positive way.
“I do believe – and I’ve told my kids this – that I can do more for them by giving money to the right presidential candidate in 2016 than by leaving them double that amount in my will,” said David Walsh, a retired investor living in Jackson, Wyoming, who would not disclose his net worth but has given several multi-million dollar gifts to charitable causes and said he planned to donate heavily to candidates in 2016.
Miami car dealership mogul Norman Braman has been outspoken about backing his longtime protege Rubio; financial investor Foster Friess was in the audience cheering Santorum on when he announced his presidential bid two weeks ago; and Bob Mercer, the founder of a New York hedge fund, has been identified as supporting Cruz. The billionaire industrialists Charles and David Koch have publicly vowed to spend nearly $900 million influencing races in 2016.
Amid the populist outcry against CEO pay and income inequality there may be some risks in candidates being so publicly linked to the extremely rich.
In Philadelphia, Anthony Hardy Williams was considered the favorite for the city’s next mayor. He won support from three billionaires, Joel Greenberg, Jeff Yass and Arthur Dantchik, founders of the Susquehanna International Group, a global financial firm headquartered in a Philadelphia suburb. The three backed Williams, encouraging voters to support his views on a hot-button education policy issue.
They spent nearly $7 million on television ads promoting Williams. In response, unions and other community groups, who opposed Williams’s education platform, coalesced around another candidate, Jim Kenney. One of the groups, Action United, organized a march in front of SIG’s offices with placards that said, “Stop billionaires from buying our next mayor!”
With very few exceptions, the super-rich are political ignoramuses – novices with no clue how an election is fought and won. This has led to some spectacular inefficiencies in the rich spending money on candidates and causes that don’t have a chance of winning:
“When you have political amateurs or novices with a strong issue or ideological position in which they have intense belief and are willing to put their money behind it, the money itself is no guarantee of victory,” said Michael Traugott, a political science professor at the University of Michigan who studies the influence of money on political races.
Studies of the 2012 and 2014 elections by the Sunlight Foundation, a Washington-based non-profit that tracks political spending, show most groups backed by billionaires had less success swaying election outcomes than groups controlled by trade organizations or professional political strategists. The Sunlight study does not offer any explanation for this difference.
Democrats are hypocrites when it comes to decrying big money in politics. They demonize the Koch brothers but remain silent when it comes to the massive spending by labor unions. And the biggest hypocrite of them all is President Obama, who railed against the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision while raising a billion dollars for his re-election in 2012. The majority of that money came from Democratic whales who apparently didn’t hear the president when he was lecturing America about the evil influence of billionaires on politics.
The key to all of this is simple transparency. Take away all the limits on giving to candidates, and make it law that every single donor has to be listed on a website along with the amount given. The public can then decide for themselves whether to vote for a candidate who appears beholden to great wealth

33. First President to fly in a personal trainer from Chicago at least once a week at taxpayer expense.
34. First President to repeat the Quran and tell us the early morning call of the Azan (Islamic call to worship) is the most beautiful sound on earth.
35. First President to side with a foreign nation over one of the American 50 states (Mexico vs Arizona).
36. First President to tell the military men and women that they should pay for their own private insurance because they "volunteered to go to war and knew the consequences."
37. Then he was the First President to tell the members of the military that THEY were UNPATRIOTIC for balking at the last suggestion.
I feel much better now. I had been under the impression he hadn't been doing ANYTHING... Such an accomplished individual... in the eyes of the ignorant maybe.

Yet, the hyper-partisan, classless Obama DID attend the services of two Democrats who, as Twitter conservative @CounterMoonbat points out, had questionable pasts...
I would attend obama's funeral.....................if I had a full bladder.

That's absolutely true, but I don't think they teach that in college.

Senator Sanders had to take this off his Twitter feed when someone, probably a greedy Wall Street English major, called him on it.

The Jig Is Up For Bernie Sanders… Look What He Just Got BUSTED For Doing
It might just be time for Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders to quit his phony anti-establishment act and admit to being a fraud, because on Thursday, election regulators announced that his campaign had violated federal campaign finance laws by accepting 3,457 “excessive, prohibited and impermissible donations.”
“The campaign’s January financial disclosure filing listed contributions from foreign nationals and unregistered political committees, the FEC said,” according to the Washington Free Beacon. “Other contributions came from donors who exceeded the $2,700 per-election limit.”
Moreover, regulators at the FEC ordered the self-avowed socialist to promptly refund all the illegal contributions.
“Although the Commission may take further legal action concerning the acceptance of (excessive or prohibited) contributions, your prompt action to refund the prohibited amount will be taken into consideration,” the FEC wrote.
FEC to @BernieSanders: Here are 90 pages of your campaign contributions we think are excessive or impermissible https://t.co/BK4wsLhIUj
