liberals that are smart enough to read should read Levin's books and maybe just maybe they might get smart enough to rethink their liberal bullshit.

Semper Fi !!!

MARK R. LEVIN HAS MADE THE CASE, IN NUMEROUS NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING BOOKS-- MEN IN BLACK , LIBERTY AND TYR-ANNY , AND AMERITOPIA --THAT THE PRIN-CIPLES UNDERGIRDING OUR SOCIETY AND GOVERNMENTAL SYSTEM ARE UNRAVELING. IN THE LIBERTY AMENDMENTS , HE TURNS TO THE FOUNDING FATHERS AND THE CONSTITUTION ITSELF FOR GUIDANCE IN RESTORING THE AMERICAN REPUBLIC. For a century, the Statists have steadfastly constructed a federal Leviathan, distorting and evading our constitutional system in pursuit of an all-powerful, ubiqui-tous central government. The result is an ongoing and growing assault on individual liberty, state sovereignty, and the social compact. Levin argues that if we cherish our American heritage, it is time to embrace a constitutional revival. The delegates to the 1787 Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia and the delegates to each state's ratification convention foresaw a time when--despite their best efforts to forestall it.The Federal government might breach the Constitution's limits and begin oppressing the people. Agencies such as the IRS and EPA and programs such as Obamacare demonstrate that the Framers' fear was prescient. Therefore, the Framers provided two methods for amending the Constitution. The second was intended for our current circumstances--empowering the states to bypass Congress and call a convention for the purpose of amending the Constitution. Levin argues that we, the people, can avoid a perilous outcome by seeking recourse, using the method called for in the Constitution itself. The Framers adopted ten constitutional amendments, called the Bill of Rights, that would preserve individual rights and state authority. Levin lays forth eleven specific prescriptions for restoring our founding principles, ones that are consistent with the Framers' design. His proposals, such as term limits for members of Congress and Supreme Court justices and limits on federal taxing and spending--are pure common sense ideas shared by many. They draw on the wisdom of the Founding Fathers--including James Madison, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and numerous lesser known but crucially important men--in their content and in the method for applying them to the current state of the nation. Now is the time for the American people to take the first step toward reclaiming what belongs to them. The task is daunting, but it is imperative if we are to be truly free.

Right on again Tileman. I've known this for years. Long ago in the 80s I learned there is a 4th branch of federal government. OK maybe correct at the time but now I just refer to it as an octopus.

Liberals that can read?

See D*ck.

See D*ck jump.

Jump D*ck, jump!

See Spot.

See Spot run.

Run Spot, run!

For some strange reason, I watched some obama-loving f*ggot being interviewed on Yahoo news this morning. This idiot was talking about how wonderful obama is and how great HRC would be as "president". I suffered through this for maybe three minutes before I felt the urge to run to the bathroom and grab a bottle of Kaopectate. Then I went on Tea Party.Org and saw Joe Biden saying the Second Amendment gives the government the power to dictate who may or may not own guns. Bottom line; liberals are too f**king stupid for us to waste our time trying to explain anything to them. In my opinion, all liberals should be rounded up in a fenced in area, given suicide vests, and then be told to push the pretty red button and wait for the surprise.

Al Sharpton will be having his passport revoked.

The newest law, signed by chummy buddy racist, President Obama, H.R. 22, takes away passports of those who owe more than $50,000.00 in back taxes. This went into effect on New Year’s Day.

Meh, says the good reverend;

“We’re talking about old taxes. I think it’s political."

Um…tax law, for all of its 100% faults, top to bottom, is still the law at present. He wears the yoke of the ox, and is a beast of indentured servitude just like the rest of us.

He is not above the law. Being a good buddy of Obama’s it’s a wonder he wasn’t excluded from the law.

What do you think the likelihood is of him getting some sort of new Obama style pardon? Perhaps that explains Sharpton's nonchalant attitude.

For now, he either has to pay-up or sit home and stew about it. In the meantime, he is sure to continue his racist chants.

Perhaps even going after the white half of the president who just burdened his high and mighty holy black man reverend self.

Maybe, he will lower himself to consider voting for one of the candidates who seeks to abolish the IRS.

Martin Luther King III Speaks Out Against Black Lives Matter Violence
Andrew Mark Miller
January 18, 2016

Martin Luther King Jr’s son, Martin Luther King III, has some words for those people who think that his father would have condoned violence to make a point.

From Washington Times:

On the holiday commemorating his father’s epic civil rights legacy, Martin Luther King III says he is dismayed by recent violence against police, the destructive protests in Ferguson and the trashing of a U.Va. fraternity falsely accused of sexual assault because they don’t reflect his father’s own approach to advocate for change peacefully.

“My father’s approach to the most brutal and unambiguous social injustices during the civil rights struggle was rooted in nonviolence as a morally and tactically correct response,” Mr. King said in an interview with The Washington Times. “In no way do I, nor would my father, condone any ‘ends justify the means’ behavior.”

But recent riots in Ferguson, Missouri, the vengeance killing of two police officers in New York and campus violence at the University of Virginiahave proved that 47 years after the peace activist was assassinated, his message still has not resonated with some.

In late November, undergraduate students at Charlottesville’s University of Virginia resorted to hurling bricks, bottles and concrete blocks through windows at the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity residence after Rolling Stone magazine recklessly accused the house of orchestrating a brutal gang rape. Profane, anti-male epithets were spray-painted across the fraternity’s Colonial brick exterior, and threats of continued violence were levied against university administrators.

In December, the U.Va. student who led the Phi Kappa Psi attack spoke to The Times on the condition of anonymity, saying he was inspired by “the black leaders in Ferguson,” and that their violent attack was warranted because “the ends justified the means.”

Martin Luther King III was one of those leaders. He traveled to Missouri to attend Michael Brown’s funeral in August.

But when The Times told Mr. King about the student’s comments, he said that using violence to correct perceived social injustices was “socially destructive” and “self-defeating.”

Mr. King said his father “pointed out in a very real sense that such [violent] acts may be considered the language of the unheard.”

As an alternative remedy, Mr. King said, communication and dialogue were key.

“I would say to these young people, you are not unheard. Your disillusionment deserves to be addressed inside and outside theuniversity through cross-cultural dialogue, which should include a greater understanding of oppression,” he said. “Only then can your anger be positively redirected through the time-honored process of nonviolence my father utilized to obtain his greatest moral victories in seeking justice and fairness for all.”

Much like his father, Mr. King has long been an advocate of communication between rival political organizations and movements.

On May 9, Mr. King shocked an MSNBC host during an interview when he suggested that liberal and left-leaning blacks reach out to members of the tea party as a means of understanding each other.

Awesome message from MLK III and it is nice to see that many members of the black community, including prominent ones like him, are advocating for a dialogue instead of marching down the street talking about frying the pigs (cops) like bacon.

We all can learn a lot from Martin Luther King Jr. and hopefully we can start toning down some of this ugly racial rhetoric and actually start working on these deep seeded issues as a community.

“Black Voters Are White Progressives’ Battered Spouse”

When asked why I became a conservative, I always give a one-word answer: Detroit. The place where I was born, the town of my mother and my grandmother before her, is a ravaged, decayed moral abyss.

The tree-lined streets and city parks are today filled with debris, graffiti and uncut grass covering the rusted swing sets. Children attend schools built early in the last century with leaky ceilings, decades-old textbooks and mushrooms literally growing in bathrooms. Streetlights work and trash is picked up. Occasionally. And not a single movie theatre or department store exists within the city limits. Detroit is hardly unique in urban America, the bastion of progressive rule for more than 60 years.

National Review columnist David French aptly describes the dysfunctional relationship between black urban dwellers who continue to support leftist political machines picking from the carcass of their crumbling cities. The fault for this, he notes, is not “white America’s":

“Black voters are not pawns to ‘messaging.’ They’re human beings fully responsible for their own mistakes, and ever since Martin Luther King, Jr.’s horrifying death, a collection of race profiteers and carnival barkers have exercised wildly disproportionate influence over African-American politics.”

Actress and Fox News contributor Stacey Dash says it’s “ludicrous” for black entertainers to call for a boycott of the Oscars for not nominating black performers while simultaneously supporting the BET and NAACP Awards which only recognize black artists.

“I think it’s ludicrous. We have to make up our minds. Either we want to have segregation or integration,” Dash said Wednesday on Fox and Friends.

“If we don’t want segregation then we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the [NCAAP] Image Awards where you’re only awarded if you’re black. If it were the other way around, we’d be up in arms.”

Since last week’s release of the 88th Academy Award nominees, calls for a boycott have come from filmmaker Spike Lee, actress Jada Pinkett Smith, and documentary filmmaker Michael Moore, among others. Al Sharpton is leading the charge behind a nationwide boycott of the show.

“It’s a double standard,” Dash added. “Just like there shouldn’t be a black history month. We’re Americans, period.”

everything i have read constitutionally says that a 'natural born citizen' is one born
of two (2) us citizens at the time of ones birth.

i have posted the evidence here on dh many times over the years. you may look up and study
yourself or go look at all my posts. i am not going to repost them again. ive done it for
years because of obama. he also is NOT natural born because his father was not a us
citizen. but.....

even if you use the argument that obama was born in hawaii and his mother was a us citizen,
and supposedly for many that makes him 'natural born' (i disagree because the constitution
plainly states PARENTS....not one parent) but cruz was born in canada making him at the
very least a DUAL citizen, some would argue he is a CUBAN/CANADIAN/US citizen with
allegiance to 3 different countries.

there is also the argument that cruz's mother gave up her us citizenship BEFORE cruz was
born. i do believe that is the dirty little detail that the trumpster is holding over
cruz's head and trying to bully him to take it to court and get it litigated once and
for all....

on this one....
i totally 100% agree with donald trump.

btw....
i am not a huge fan of the trumpster!

please dont accuse me of 'falling for the lies of the liberals'
when you and others are falling for the lies of the rino's...imo

1-26-2016

I just listened to Mark Levin. His show just ended. It's amazing how many people seem to be having second thoughts about Donald Trump and are giving Ted Cruz a good, hard second look.

http://feeds.feedburner.com/marklevinshow/MLAR

Ted Cruz and Ben Carson both called in tonight. Ted offered to debate anybody on Marks show. If this happens, it should be classic!

Trump said he "gets along" with Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and upChuck Schumer, but said Ted Cruz is "Nasty" (?) or some other stupid comment.

Trump also said he won't debate on Fox because he doesn't like Megan Kelly. Apparently, Wolf Blitzer is perfectly OK?

Very, very interesting.

You should watch Megan Kelly. She has attacked Trump personally and always has establishments on every night like, Beck, Rove and Krauthamer . She made fun of Sarah Palin for endorsing Trump. She has a hit piece every night on Trump and has Micheal Moore on right now. I do not blame Trump for not debating with Kelly.

Indy: FYI in case you aren't aware, the 12 largest metropolitan cities in the USA which are mostly ghetto, have been managed by democratic mayors for decades.

Clarity: I recall all the fuss with Oblama's birth and the birther movement. I tend to agree with you regarding Cruz and wonder if we do want a POTUS that has dual citizenship. Recall that his other citizenry is Canada, much more socialist than the USA. Conflict of interest? Maybe, although he claims to have denounced his Canadian citizenship.

As far as Meghan Kelly, I've been totally disappointed with her attitude and seemingly RINO disposition against Trump ever since the first debate.

I'm for Trump, period! Many may not like his demeanor and attitude, but I do believe that he owes nothing to anybody and doesn't give a damm what anyone thinks of his criticisms and so forth. He's a leader, a successful one, period, and being a non-professional politician, he's something we sorely need. The USA, including my parents and grandparents, have been b*tching about politics for over 50 years....for the same reasons that we are now complaining, with the exception of our Republic being in drastic danger -- the "transformation of America" that Oblama promised. It's time for a change for the restoration of the USA and if Trump is elected, watch out Washington!

On the other hand, if Oblama becomes CEO of the United Nations, be prepared!

The point is, is that Cruz is not holding allegiance to any other country.

In my lifetime, I have been in Canada more times than I can count, in Mexico once. (alcohol was involved) and my parents are of German, Polish and Irish descent.

That does not mean I have allegiance to Canada, Mexico, Germany, Poland or Ireland.

Ted Cruz's allegiance is to the United States of America. PERIOD!

Well said!

I respect Clarity, and I enjoy her posts. This is nothing personal.

The person whose opinion I respect the most, who is an outstanding attorney and Constitutional expert, is Mark Levin. Levin insists this issue is nonsense, he explains it, and backs up his opinions with facts and examples. I am willing to bet that Mark Levin knows the law better than any poster in this group. If Levin says Ted Cruz is eligible, then Ted Cruz is eligible. All of Mark's shows are available for free through his website, marklevinshow.com

BREAKING=> Carson Accuses Cruz Camp of FOUL PLAY – Told Voters Carson Was Dropping Out

Jim Hoft Feb 1st, 2016 11:20 pm

SCANDAL–
Dr. Ben Carson accused the Cruz camp of foul play in the Iowa Caucuses today.
Carson said the Cruz camp told voters Carson was dropping out and to support Ted Cruz.

Fortune reported:

The Carson camp claimed Cruz’s team spread false rumors at caucus sites that Carson had dropped out.

Ben Carson was incensed as the results of Monday night’s Iowa caucuses rolled in, accusing the winner of spreading falsehoods about him at caucus sites.

Carson’s team claimed that Cruz’s campaign deliberately sent emails to supporters to spread false rumors at caucus sites that Carson had dropped out, so his supporters would caucus for other candidates.

“That is really quite a dirty trick,” Carson said speaking to reporters at the end of the evening. “That’s the very kind of thing that irritated me enough to get into this quagmire.”

“To have campaigns come out and send emails to their caucus speakers suggesting that Dr. Carson was doing anything but moving forward after tonight is the lowest of low in American politics,” said Carson campaign manager Ed Brookover.

** Rep. Steve King (R-IA) who was campaigning with Ted Cruz today tweeted this out during the caucuses tonight.

Carson looks like he is out. Iowans need to know before they vote. Most will go to Cruz, I hope.

Steve King added,
Chris Moody @moody
Carson won't go to NH/SC, but instead will head home to Florida for some R&R. He'll be in DC Thursday for the National Prayer Breakfast.

@SteveKingIA I pray the folks of IA consider the depths you're willing to sink to before they vote for you again. You did Dr. Carson DIRTY!

And the Cruz campaign sent out this message despite the fact that the Carson rumor had already been denied by the Carson team.

@JoeNBC SO....You saw this then?

Carson placed a distant 4th tonight in Iowa with 9.3% of the votes.

Some people actually believe the Sanders nonsense!
Bernie Sanders’ big government ideas are so whacked out, even Nancy Pelosi is against them.

Fans of socialism often are already dependents of the system or are too young to understand the dangers of it

Dems have fully embraced socialism with the anointment of Bernie Sanders as a credible candidate. (Of course, Hillary is equally anti-capitalist, but still in the closet)

Free college for all?
Tuesday, May 19, 2015, Sanders introduced legislation to help make public 4-year colleges and universities tuition free, called the "College for All Act."
Funding for this legislation would come from a 0.5% tax on stock trades, a 0.1% tax on bonds, and a 0.005% tax on derivatives. "It has been estimated that this provision could raise hundreds of billions a year."

Universal Healthcare?
Funding for this bill would be paid by a 6.7% payroll tax on employers a, 2.2% - 5.2% income tax on employees (dependent on income bracket from less than $200k a year to over $600k a year), an 5.4% tax on modified adjusted gross income exceeding $1 million, and a .02% tax on securities transactions.
It is also worth noting that with all the programs Bernie bill would eliminate, the costs of those programs would essentially transfer to Bernie's health program, providing additional funding.

Green energy initiatives?
Funding for this proposal would be paid on $20 carbon tax per ton of carbon emissions, rising by 5.6% per year over 10 years.

"This fee would apply to only 2,869 of the largest fossil fuel polluters, covering about 85 percent of U.S. greenhouse gas emissions, according to the Congressional Research Service. The Congressional Budget Office estimates this step alone could raise $1.2 trillion in revenue over ten years and reduce greenhouse gas emissions approximately 20 percent from 2005 levels by 2025." (bill summary)
Imported fuels would be charged the same carbon free, unless the exporting country has a similar climate program and already charges a fee on carbon. The bill would also end fossil fuel subsidies. From this, "approximately $300 billion would go to debt reduction over ten years".

Increased wages?
This bill proposes the follow wage adjustments:
+ Minimum wage - $9 in 2016, $10.50 in 2017, $12.00 in 2018, $13.50 in 2019, and $15 in 2020.
+ Tipped min wage - $3.15 in 2016, then increased $1.50 each year until matching standard minimum.
+ Youth min wage - can be no less than $3.00 less the standard minimum.

Bernie Sanders also has proposals to reduce the deficit. These include:

+ End offshore tax havens
+ Establish .03% tax on Wall Street speculators
+ End tax breaks and subsides for big oil, gas, and coal companies
+ Establish as estate tax on inherited wealth over more than $3.5 million
+ Tax capital gains and dividends the same as work
+ Repeal 2001 and 2003 Bush tax breaks for the top two percent
+ Establish a currency manipulation fee on China and other countries
+ Reduce unnecessary spending at the Pentagon
+ Require Medicare to negotiate for drug prices
+ End mass incarceration (costs billions of dollars a year)

Bernie is the only candidate who is talking about the issues affecting the world right now. Everyone else is pandering to the fear mongers, manufacturing false issues or vowing to make things worse in order to satisfy their lobbyists....r.horn
