Careful reading of the gobbledy gook of religious rambling we find that bread remains bread but is "regarded" as the body of Christ. This means if you ran up the alter you'll just see bread. It means there was no physical transubstantiation as it's implied to be.
The catholic encyclopedia explains it.
In the mind of the Church, Transubstantiation has been so intimately bound up with the Real Presence, that both dogmas have been handed down together from generation to generation, though we cannot entirely ignore a dogmatico-historical development. The total conversion of the substance of bread is expressed clearly in the words of Institution: "This is my body".
Did you get all that?
Now get this.
These words form, not a theoretical, but a practical proposition, whose essence consists in this, that the objective identity between subject and predicate is effected and verified only after the words have all been uttered, not unlike the pronouncement of a king to a subaltern: "You are a major", or, "You are a captain", which would immediately cause the promotion of the officer to a higher command.
Basically what is considered substance, by practical proposition, is the promotion itself. That is the identity of a thing in one's mind is changed. The thing itself is not changed.
When, therefore, He Who is All Truth and All Power said of the bread: "This is my body", the bread became, through the utterance of these words, the Body of Christ; consequently, on the completion of the sentence the substance of bread was no longer present, but the Body of Christ under the outward appearance of bread. Hence the bread must have become the Body of Christ, i.e. the former must have been converted into the latter.
Did you get that???? It's still f**king bread but what the loons did was simply stretch the meaning of the word substance to bread to be the Body of Christ. What happened here was the priest uttered some words to promote the bread. What a joke.
The stage magician uses misdirection, slight of hand, etc to make you see what he wants you to see. The religious hustler is no different. By distorting and contorting the definitions of words you can make someone believe that a dog is a cat. If you are a true believer you will believe the dog is cat just as you believe a piece of bread or a wafer is a Body of Christ.

Wayne and lud show up as intellectual dimwits. Seems to be a lot of that going on here. They must surround themselves with those just as stupid to feel normal. Being dullards their jobs can't be very complicated, not requiring much intellectual effort. They have no clue what transubstantiation is and how the church itself uses flim flam language to describe it.
We need more dimwits to show up. We already have kb2222, jester, cup, rose, and followonlyjesus. Can someone go grab a few from the Christian forums and invite them over?

Why do christians always have to revert to making threats to non-believers?
Why can't they justify the bullshit they preach?
Peace
