Thank you Sandi, it was a shock like your situation is. I don't think you can ever be
prepared to hear the big "C". Last year Mom was diagnosed with small cell bladder
cancer, she went thru chemo and radiation, two weeks ago we learned her cancer is back and on Monday her urologist told her she would have to let them remove her bladder and have urinary diversion or she will be dead in 6 months. She has always been dead set against losing her bladder but she has agreed to listening to the surgeon on what her surgical options are, so I'm praying we are blessed enough to have her around a while longer. I'll be lost without her.

But anyway my reason for telling you about Mom is, while researching everything I came across Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network, which is a wonderful informational site and also has an online community for survivors and caregivers with wonderful people that are willing to talk about their experience, answer questions and help in anyway possible. They have even offered up their phone numbers for Mom to call, I think it eases some of the fear to speak to those who are or have been in your shoes.

When I read your post yesterday I did a similar search for Pancreatic Cancer and have put the link below for you. It may be something you or Ron (or both of you) would like to join and if possible Ron's father. I've found for me it helps a little and BCAN is full of useful information.

You need to refocus your negative energy and perception of yourself. If YOU don't like you, how do you expect anyone else to?

Get out and work on yourself. Walk, hit the gym, get some sunshine on you. Change up your wardrobe. Focus on yourself positively. You will slowly radiate confidence and that is extremely attractive to women.

On-line dating is a harsh place and it mind-fux everyone.

No one finds, "Oh Whoa Is Me" attractive.

I have walked in your shoes where my self-confidence plummeted. Someone said, "knock it off" and made me get off my a** and start focusing positively on myself. I slowly started focusing on "who" I saw in the mirror and not "what" I saw.

If you continue as you are, a year from now, you will still be here typing away your life or you can make changes and a year from now, you will be out living life.
