I'm just curious, has anyone met and dated any nice men\women within our state? I did a few years ago, not much anymore. Only being contacted from across the country. Do we not have any locals here? Lets hear ya!

It's hard to get a nice factory job if you live in a forest a thousand miles from the nearest factory. You can't get a four year college degree if you only attend Community Colleges. Sometimes you have to go to where what you want is. City folks who want fewer hassles, and birds chirping in the morning, should move to the countryside. Farm gals who want to disco till dawn where they may see celebrities partying, too, should move to the big city. If you want to meet a suitable guy, the odds of doing so where you are now are low. Consider moving to somewhere a bit larger...LA, Seattle, or such. Make it a historic place-like Boston, or Philadelphia-and you also get to see some interesting sites, and pick cool-touristy-places to meet in public. Consider moving across country, getting settled in somewhere large, and interesting, and then looking for someone there. More people in such a place improves the odds that you will find your soulmate there.

Yep I agree with the location advice. Unfortunately, I have significant ties to my area, plus I kinda like it here. Not to big or too small. Other issue is I was a correction officer here for many years and so that shrinks my dating pool even more for me In a small area.
Any other suggestions?

Dating here is really tough, especially if you have any kind of standards or self respect
