Planning to leave for Alaska, driving from Florida.
It says June to sept are the best months to head for Alaska. I would like to kind of Tour the entire state. What's my best option? Cruise or plane?
I read there's a train for scenic site seeing. This is the last state I will visit. Been to every single States except Alaska. I will be bringing a dog trained for disabled person.

Your best bet by far is to do the combined cruse-train trip!! Catch a ship in either Washington or Vancouver and sail up to Whittier AK where you catch a train through the mountain and on to Denali for the bus your then on to Fairbanks. Be careful how many side trips you book, my sister tried to get everything in and it was to much! Try to book the first bus tour in the morning at Denali to see more game animals! They call it the Alaskan Serengeti but that is a big lie!!! Very few critters unless you get the earliest bus. Good Luck & Enjoy. Alby
PS: You can reverse the route and start in Fairbanks or WhiteHorse Canada.
