Swings n such...
The two youngest girls were not yet school age... Mom, who stayed home, but let her little one come visit with auntie and her kids, gave specific instructions... NO SWINGS!
Of course, as grampa, I knew better. Didn't we as parents? Then why would things change with age?
Of course there would be swings...
These swings were of a kind that had seat belts and holes for feet to dangle through...
The excitement, smiles, giggles and laughter would be our little secret...

Back in the day, my first Harley, I pushed as much as I rode... It was the nature a the beast... Harleys didn' have a reputation fer bein' reliable... I rode that bike, 24/7/365...
One day comin' home from work... luckily... I spotted, in my mirrors, some thin' tumblin' be hine me... Thot I run over some thin'... Wen I got home, I noticed my tail lite was gone... Wull, my Mamma didn' born her no foo', I knew rite where it was, so back on my bike ta retrieve it... I did... btw... No turn signals, ya had ta signal the old fashion' way... Butt'cha had ta look kewl doin' it... Ya pointed... That's MY lane!!! As if ya OWNED it...
Not so much taday, butt back then it was wise ta carry extra plugs inna tool kit... Plugs were all ways foulin'... No 'lectric start, them bikes were called 'kickers'... Ya had ta kick start em an lotsa times they'd kick ya back...
