There has been a series of ads that keep popping up for me that just about stop me from doing anything on this site but the forums. It would redirect me to something all the time even if I reopen the same page by history or back button. This also happens on the app.

They are automated to respond to posting criteria.
Don't like ads... watch what you post.

Use adblock.
That wouldn't work on the app. The phone browser maybe but unlikely unless you have a specific suggestion.
Ads pay for overhead.
They are automated to respond to posting criteria.
Don't like ads... watch what you post.
Simple solution.
Do you mean the banner adverts, cause I'm getting redirected without me choosing to click on any ads. Instead, it happens like when I'm doing a search or even just changing things on my account, then I'm redirected to something else entirely.

GoTo >> Settings on your phone and modify. It may be hitchhiker ads on your other apps.
Block any apps you don't use regularly.
Clear your cache.
Sign off this site.
Sign off your browser.
Re-boot your phone (to lose those tracker cookies)
Sign back in.
