Just My Friend, God will judge Ali just like HE will judge all of us. Ali was truly one of the greatest in the ring but since I fought in the jungles of Viet-Nam as a US Marine it's very hard for me to overlook the fact that Ali did not when he was called upon to do so. Instead, he decided to live his life in an anti-Christian manner even changing his name. God has taught me to forgive but the most important question is will God forgive him? Let's hope so because Ali was truly great with what he did in the ring.

I understand how you feel tommy many feel as You do (rightly so imo) But His accomplishments in the ring may never be equaled considering the state of Boxing today

I agree, his accomplishments in the ring were amazing! Today's boxing is a joke with so many different champions in so many different weight divisions. After Ali, Frazier, Foreman, and very few others I lost interest in the heavyweight division and I can't even tell you who the heavyweight champion of the world is today. For all I know there might be five of them. I hope you are doing well my friend!

Ali was a great boxer.....he did his sport proud.....but to call him a great man is stretching it....like Tommy, I was born during the Nam war and my husband was over there....But I will not judge him - One thing I will never ever understand is why, when so much proof is available now, do people continue to get in the ring and allow their heads to be beat and beat and beat - knowing what it has done to so many people .... the medical conditions are so bad I can't imagine why anyone would put themselves in a position to have that happen to them... I never have enjoyed watching boxing but I have to say that Cassius Clay/Mohammed Ali was the best there ever was. RIP Champ

Copy this link above and paste it into your browser...he may have known Ali,the best, the good and bad...
On fb almost everyone has a thread about Ali..in a 4-4 vote the supreme court was sending Ali to jail but then some evidence came in and then he was never sent to jail while countless draft Dodgers went to Canada...conscientious objectors and there were many never had my respect but every veteran alive or has passed love in my heart forever

10s, There is no way I could say it any better than you just said it!
Ali was indeed the greatest in my opinion in the boxing ring but as a quality human being he was a piece of crap! Please pardon my language but when all of these p*ssys went to Canada to avoid the draft, or in Ali's case change your name to avoid the draft, why were they even allowed to return or allowed to live in the USA? I'm sorry, but I have seen too many of my fellow Marines die with a head laying here or a heart laying there in combat and believe me, it's not a pretty site to see!
