For the last year (or more) this area is anything but. Since all of the race issues of the past year or so this area has lost it's direction. Almost every topic is about race. Derogatory comments from both sides. Those who use to discuss dating have left for other sites because this forum is so full of racial hatred and controversy. I seldom read that area anymore. It's, also, beginning to spill over into the relationships section. Some of us have said take it to one of the political areas but because the Dating General Discussion is so big it draws a larger audience. cupocheer Assumption, IL 68, joined May. 2010	My sentiments, exactly, Dave. I, too, have posted my displeasure with the many "problem areas" DH is experiencing. The only recourse that we, as members, have, I suppose, is to flag offending posts or posts not on forum topic. While some label others as "flag hags" for abiding by DH rules and terms of use it still "takes a village" to make things run as they were intended. Since DH admin, apparently, has no concern about the reputation of the site and fail to step in and correct these problems as they used to, perhaps they should remove all terms of use and rules restrictions, or better yet, shut the site down and take the site off-line.

Match.com bought DH just for advertising space and a tax write off. Its not a dating site. They are not even making money. Their greedy asses just pay the web fee and no on at Match even knows the problems. Funny how a dead site can just sit here spewing hate.... FBI should shut it down.

I was here while Dustin was still here, and yes, it was a better site because he made shirt order of site rules violations and kept some decorum about the place. If he came back for a visit I believe you would see some "new" old times per laryngitis.

Dating is dating Dating envolves most everything thats encountered in daily life. There is inter racial dating ..homo sexual dating ...kids & grand parents dating. Some people think its all a joke...but real life is 'The Gerry Springer' show. So your gonna find race threads...homo sexual threads..to things like panty perverts and sock sniffing threads. People who are predjudice to all these different lifestyles and alternatives are truly just a minority in this vast diversified world, that we all come from. I understand many peoples points about how such topics stir drama. However its the peoples anger that hurts the sites criteria. The anger coming from those who wish to avoid lifes real diversity. They do not realize how they are being selfish by not just excepting other peoples ways & moving on..or learning how to cope with them. Is Dating General Dicussions..just for telling strangers how you lost big time on the date that never happened ..or..a place to play 'PAY' games. If your into word puzzles & lack courage to communicate with people....then 'Why not just buy a few news paper'..their full of crossword puzzles. and you wont have to review this rest of the worlds differences...while playing.
