I was recently a patient of an Indian Doctor who held me in the hospital longer than needed.
After I get my 23,000 dollar bill, I read up on Indian Doctors and find out that there has been alot of contraversy about their practice in the field. They do not go to to your typical medical schools, they are not vetted nor do they practice like they should.
I am simply trying to save some people some grief.

You need to be cautious dealing with ANY doctors. Remember that someone graduated last in class. I have found European doctors that were trained harder than US. And were more caring. And other nations that border on quackery in their ideas. Although some homeopathic ideas are good. I see more doctors who look at insurance orders and kick people out of the hospital faster than is wise. Some that think pills galore is the way to treat and others who think surgery first. The problem is not a country. It is OUR AMA.

Hi kemia!
Hi orz!
You are right, it's all about the money & about cost, America is the worst country to get sick in. If you don't have health insurance, the doctors don't want to treat you.
The doctors will suggest that you get surgeries for yourself that you don't really need. Because if they operate on you, perform surgeries on you, they will make more money. They can bill your insurance company for a lot of money.
People like Donald trump are rich, they don't have to worry about having money to pay for the surgeries. It doesn't mean the doctors will not try to pull a stunt on Trump, the doctors will try to milked (get) money out of trump as well. The thing is, you have to do your own research, get a second medical opinion as to whether you really need the surgery or not. You can't trust the words of your own doctors these days, the doctor is not in it for your benefits, he is in it for his own benefits.
When doctors prescribe pills for you to take, he is not trying to help you. For every prescription that he writes for his patients, the drug companies send him a small reward (a small amount of money) for writing those prescriptions. He is not prescribing those drugs to help you get better. The drug companies paid him a small fee to prescribe those drugs to you. The rules of thumbs are do not trust your doctors. He is not there to help you. He is only there to make money so he can keep his yacht, his fancy summer home for vacations in Palm beach Florida, or in cape cod Rhode Island. That's where all the rich white people have their summer home for vacations. But no matter what ethnic group the doctor is from, they all behave the same way. They will tell you to get surgeries you don't really need. Prescribe drugs you do really need to take. Why do doctors do this? They get paid more money if they do it. Performing more surgeries on you that you don't need means they can bilk your insurance company for a lot of money. How else will the doctors be able to afford to keep his summer homes & his yacht if he doesn't do these sneaky things to you.
You should always get a second medical opinion from another doctor to see if you really need the surgery or not, Kemia. Do research about your illness on the internet to see if you really need the surgery or not.
I wish you a fast & speedy recovery, Kemia. Get well soon, Kemia.

Exactly.
What does him being from India have to do with the situation?
That is why most professionals hang their diplomas in the office so you can see it.
If they went to an Online College, then go somewhere else.

If the hospital is small and cone-shaped.... And people in weird costumes start dancing around...
You might want to double-check that you are in the right place....

It's well within your rights to question doctors. My rule of thumb-If he (or she) is offended by you saying, "I want a second opinion" then it's best to find the nearest exit. FAST. One didn't get a chance to bill me. (Boo hoo) He tried to sue me in small claims court. His case came apart when I walked in the courtroom. I had broken my leg, and for six months, I was in plaster and on crutches. He claimed my leg wasn't healing and scheduled me for bone graft surgery. I said no and hobbled out, telling him to stick his bill up his a$$. Three month later, I walked in, no crutches, no plaster.
