I agree with the op here. I'm fed up with men also. I'll tell you my problem. They are cheaters. They are master manipulators. They are low down and dirty and I had enough. So on that note, where are the studs? Been single now for 8 years and I finally decided I need a woman now. Men are no longer my cup of tea smh

At my age, we tend to be less optimistic about little things that bother us. As we age, men die faster so the competition for the good ones is greater. Some men my age have never had a long-term relationship and most likely there is a good reason for that. I don't feel like I have a problem with men as much as I do with reality. I found it much easier to think things would get better when I was younger.

Is that I don't believe in a "good man" anymore. Because I know they are only good to the ones they want to be good to. My problem is (logically speaking) I know that people change on their own terms. That they wear this gentleman's mask and play the act so well. That they can even fool themselves. So I don't want a "good man". I want a man that is good to me.

They are not complicated. We make it complicated. Do not think he is your boyfriend until you actually meet him and hang out with him for awhile. Make sure you are compatible. Have some hopes and dreams, etc. Do not rush into things.

Do not just think he is your bf because you talked to him a few times online or on the phone.
Get to know him for months until you have a good idea who he is. I know sometimes they still fool us anyway but at least you know more about him and he may not screw you ovet as much. Be careful and do not be so gullible.

Trying to sort the bad ones from the good ones. So many are little self absorbed annoyingly self directed people that must think women want to drop everything for them.
Takers--always asking for more pics ..if really arrogant without clothing
Takers--requests for last minute plans
Takers--douchebags can get a quick pic for brief one night stand
Takers--bragging about holding high ideals (knocking down other sexualities,races,women) you're not doing anything for anyone you're not upper crust
Takers--bragging about bachelerhood hello if you're over 30 I'm not impressed with ability to weave in and out with women

Many of them think they are better than all women no matter the woman's education, income or accomplishments in life. When I'm interested in a guy, I try to determine if he considers me an equal and if he respects me because if he doesn't, he won't carry on any meaningful conversations with me. The talkers who don't listen....

Duchessa..Some of these men's profiles are hilarious to say the least. One man complained about having his messages deleted instead of being replied to. So he blocks the ones that do this. Too bad he doesn't understand most won't reply if a profile picture is not displayed.
