I live way out in the country and when I was a kid all the roads were dirt around here  now 50 years later alot of them are paved

I live far enough off the road that the trees and shrubs filter the dust out long before it gets to my house..
If your gonna live in the sticks,plan ahead with common sense

I live where I want to live.
I'm comfortable in my own skin and not intimidated by the hustle & bustle nor needful of any other than my own survival instincts (and I'm damned well sekf-sufficient).
I despise being TOLD I can do.

I love off roading , .... exploring mostly.
Mud bogging , most excites me. ,,not a lot of places for rock climbing but do have a few areas with steep slopes and rocky bluffs.....hill climbing along power line trails covered with wet grass ... is very challenging .
Down in the wet land areas near my home.
I own a Ford Explorer all wheel drive ,
.......and a Ford 150 lariat Supercrew Fx4 , with a set of "33 Nitto Tera mud grappler tires on it.
I live in between a Fairly big city & the country backwoods.
So I get to enjoy both worlds.
I'm 3 minutes from a great river , an a lush game reserve.
.....and 3 hours from the ocean.
I'm also 5 minutes from the biggest Air Force base east of the Missippi.
I travel a lot with one of my professions.
and currently work in about 11 states.
I hate congested traffic , people who don't use turn signals.
Those who pull out in front of others unexpectedly.
15 minute red lights , road medians , all those who never seen a round about or understand how to use them.
People who ride bumpers ...and blare horns.
Some of the worst cities I'v worked in or would never move too...

Dover, De.........well Dover I guess isn't too extreme.
Most people who live in these cities spend like 2 hours every morning...driving just 5 miles across town to work.
There is no way ..I could do this every day as my survival.
I might work in all these places ..but I'm just passing through with its traffic.
...doing one day , two day jobs periodically.
I enjoy riding down long paved country roads ....like country fire truck routes, field breakers , highways that snake through huge pecan orchards...and corn rows.
This is always fun with a companion , some music and a natural buzz.

Hate is a very strong word to use for anything. 
Roundabout? Lol.. you mean the crazy engineering semi-cirle maneuver invented because a grown, adult, experienced driver at an intersection doesn't have enough sense to make a direct left-hand turn without getting themselves killed.

Yes..that be the infamous circle of confusion..for the redneck people down here.
Unlike alot of other states..Goergia doesnt have too many of these.
So those people who never travel any further than 20 miles from home.
Arnt too familier with them.
Instead of following its circle theyl usually ..stop & stare , like they just found some religous circle thats stamped out in the middle of nowhere...they stop ..they go ..they jump out & make selfies...then hop back into thier cars and stop & go around several times...like thier enjoying a carnival ride at Disney.
The dense minds are so bad , that i rrcently notice in many areas ...that they post signs with instructions on them , just before reaching the roundabout's entrances.

Never did understand why I had to drive like 45 miles beside the interstate before I could get on it. Training course to run with the big guys?

Ever noticed there the only state you can go 80 mph on the interstate legally ?
The highest most go is 70 ,
..North Carolina can only go 65....

Hell's Bells -- Texas is the only state I have ever been in where traffic on secondary highways can drive 75 miles an hour on the shoulder in order to allow passing.
