my boss has been using having a 98.6 fever as an excuse lately to leave early. then her husband calls a few hours later wanting to talk to her and he is at home but she is not (at least once, she got her nails done and a new purse when she was sick)

my car is stuck in the garage in a couple of feet of water and the lakes haven't receded enough, so there is waist high water to get through to get to a road and the canoe sprung a leak
(FYI - there are people having this problem around here, according to the news)
