Stein, the Green Party candidate, started the effort a couple of days ago to get recounts in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin -- states that Trump surprisingly won.
Stein has raised $5.8 million toward her goal of $7 million and on Friday made her first official move -- requesting a recount in Wisconsin.
"The people have spoken and the election is over,” Trump, a Republican, said Saturday. “We must accept this result and then look to the future. … “This recount is just a way for Jill Stein. … to fill her coffers with money, most of which she will never even spend on this ridiculous recount.”

Oops. Jill Stein forgot to mention to her donors that she cannot file a direct request for a recount in Pennsylvania.
Stein did not make the recount process clear for her donors. Her outline makes it sound as though a candidate can simply file for a recount if they raise enough funds for the filing fee.
Stein would have to present a case showing voter fraud took place.
Per Pennsylvania regulations, there is only one way remaining for Jill Stein to get a recount in Pennsylvania and it is a complicated process. BillyPenn reports that Stein would have to file for a court appeal and present a “prima facie case” showing that voter fraud took place. While prima facie has a lower burden of proof threshold than “beyond reasonable doubt,” it is still significant. Stein would have to prove in court that fraud was “probable.” This is going to be very difficult given that even the computer specialists recommending the recount say there is no proof of hacking or fraud.

In her entire campaign as the 1.8 percent recipient of voter picks, she made $3.51 million dollars in support – so in another week of keeping up with the Kardashians, she’s made a shit-ton more on fears, deceptions and lies; and she’s laughing all the way to the bank with YOUR money.
Duped and stupid Hillary Clinton supporters are opening up their wallets to help the recount efforts, while smart people like us are saying the whole thing is nothing more than a gimmick to keep making money under the disguise of the Green Party.
So how is this c*nt duping you all?
1. The amount she’s asking for keeps increasing. The amount of money needed for the recount has been consistently creeping upward since the fundraising drive was launched. At first, the goal was $2.5 million. Now it’s $7 million with no real explanation as to why the additional money is needed.
2. The proposed increasing attorney fees. Another point of contention is the way the supposed attorney fees for the recount effort keep on increasing.
Politico explains:
In an initial cached version of the fundraising page, they do not mention attorney fees in the fundraising pitch. A cached version of the page from early Thursday morning then estimates that attorney fees will “likely to be another $1 million,” while her page had set a goal of $4.5 million mid-day Thursday.
As of noon on Thursday, the fundraising page now estimates that attorney fees “are likely to be another $2-3 million, then there are the costs of the statewide recount observers in all three states,” raising the total cost to “$6-7 million.”
3. No money back and no guarantees. Those critical of the effort are quick to point out that in the fundraising drive, Stein outright admits that she cannot guarantee recounts will actually happen. Stein also doesn’t say what any money that isn’t used for the recount will actually go to, beyond a general pledge that “the surplus will also go toward election integrity efforts and to promote voting system reform.”
4. No actual proof, or even a quation of legitimacy to her claim of voter fraud.
READ THIS LINE THAT SHE SAID:
“Let me be very clear: We do not have evidence of fraud,” Stein said in an interview. “We do not have smoking guns.”
“What we do have is an election that was surrounded by hacking.” Though she cannot pinpoint where or how the hacking came to be. Several experts have spoken up to say “Were this year’s deviations from pre-election polls the results of a cyberattack? Probably not,”
Even as some security and election experts call for paper ballots to be checked it’s important to note “there’s no evidence that the electronic machines were hacked or the election was compromised,” as NPR’s Camila Domonoske explained.
5. A recount wouldn’t disprove hacking anyway. The thought is that nobody will know whether a cyberattack changed the result of the race unless there is a recount. It’s imply not true. In Pennsylvania, for example, most machines don’t have paper ballots and if the past is any guide the recount could simply mean re-scanning the machine results.
6. Stein doesn’t actually want to help Clinton. Wha-wha-What? But Clinton supporters are pouring gold in to her coffers!!! Stein clearly states that the effort is “not intended to help Hillary Clinton,” adding that “recounts are part of an election integrity movement to attempt to shine a light on just how untrustworthy the U.S. election system is.” After all, during the campaign, Stein made clear she didn’t prefer Clinton over Trump and has now said that the way Clinton has stayed out of the recount fray only shows the Democratic Party is corrupt.

7. There are better places for your money. Many are urging those who just want to put their money where their mouth is to send cash for progressive organizations. You and I must have been watching diffrent news reports...I totally remember Trump calling this election rigged...it was when he was up against Cruz....
And I have yet heard about Clinton funding any of the recounts...the news just announced Stein has $5,000,000.00 for the recount...
I watched the same report you did. I also watched the third debate where Trump said, If he won he's would except the results. So again it's okay for Trump but no one else.

epz, on meet the press this morning, they can't believe Jill Stein is the instigator, they talked about the difficulty and length of time as cost to taxpayers, for 1 state, let alone 3, they feel there is more to it and suggested, it was the Clinton campaign, behind it. Also, the Dem from Ohio says, Nancy Pelosi, needs to go, funds or no fund, the bottom line is they LOST!
Said that if money was going to win an election, Hi liar y would have won it. They need new tactics to win again, not the same old BS from Pelosi and Reid.

At this point I really could care less which of the 2 evils is our president...but I will always stand up if the truth is not circulating... No matter which side...

I just signed up to volunteer to be a part of any recount that might happen in my state.
I don't believe that it will but it could if they get a liberal judge to hear their appeal.

No it's from donations, but a lot of the donations are coming from Hillary and her folks, I reckon.

Barack Obama had to call Hillary Clinton to tell her to concede on election night. Obama called after Trump won Pennsylvania after midnight.
Hillary wasn’t ready to concede.
There are reports that Hillary became physically violent and tore into her campaign managers Robby Mook and John Podesta late that night.
The Hill reported:
President Barack Obama called Hillary Clinton to persuade her to concede the White House on election night, according to a forthcoming book on Clinton’s defeat.
Authors Amie Parnes, The Hill’s senior White House correspondent, and Jonathan Allen cite three Clintonworld sources familiar with the election-night request in the unreleased book from Crown Publishing.
“You need to concede,” Obama told his former secretary of State as she, her family, and her top aides continued to watch results trickle in from the key Rust Belt states of Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. The latter state, called after 1:30 a.m. by The Associated Press, was the clear tipping point for the White House race, ensuring Trump would crest over the 270 electoral-vote threshold needed to win.
Clinton ultimately heeded Obama’s advice and called Trump to acknowledge her defeat in the early morning hours Wednesday.
White House officials did not immediately return requests for comment Friday.

Per Pennsylvania regulations, there is only one way remaining for Jill Stein to get a recount in Pennsylvania and it is a complicated process. BillyPenn reports that Stein would have to file for a court appeal and present a “prima facie case” showing that voter fraud took place. While prima facie has a lower burden of proof threshold than “beyond reasonable doubt,” it is still significant. Stein would have to prove in court that fraud was “probable.” This is going to be very difficult given that even the computer specialists recommending the recount say there is no proof of hacking or fraud.
In fact, the Medium reports that Clinton’s own legal team headed by Marc Elias has noted that Clinton’s team “had not uncovered any actionable evidence of hacking or outside attempts to alter the voting technology.” The Obama administration echoed that by stating that the government did not observe any increased level of malicious cyber-activity aimed at disrupting our electoral process on election day. According to Newsmax, Obama is standing behind the results which indicate that Trump won the election, saying the election was “free and fair from a cybersecurity perspective.”
Elias also noted that in even the closest margin state, Michigan, Trump’s win “well exceeds the largest margin ever overcome in a recount.” Therefore, Elias says that is why Clinton herself did not pursue a recount effort. However, since Stein has funded and initiated the effort, Elias says that Clinton will participate to ensure fairness.
