Your life is your problem. You liberal morons want to make it society's problem.
As far as I'm concerned, you all can go to hell. I don't want to spend any tax dollars supporting programs to support the most useless people in our society. If this attitude was adopted, people would realize the road to hell really ends in hell! Good riddance!
You don't want to spend any tax dollars when it comes to drugs? The easiest way to do that is to end the war on drugs.

Not exactly true.
Afghanistan is number one in poppy production.
However, the vast majority of the heroin in the Americas is produced from Mexican and Columbian poppies.

http://listcrux.co/top-10-countries-known-for-producing-opium/
This says Mexico has 7%, which is huge growth, granted, but #1?
Please provide your proof. BTW, even if Afghanistan produces less than 1%, we still shouldn't have soldiers protecting it.
https://opiumproject7d.wordpress.com/where-is-opium-grown/
"Afghanistan accounts to over 90% of the world’s grown Opium. Although the Taliban has banned Opium poppy cultivation in 2001, after they were ousted out of power, the production of Opium has steadily risen until they were the world’s total largest Opium producers."

It's all about "protecting our shores".
You hear that mantra a lot from various political groups.
To be able to do that requires the actions we must take on other shores.
If heroin is really the problem, find the poppy fields in the world and take them out.
You can't tell me that Obama's use of drones in fighting terrorists has not been a very successful and appropriate way of taking out the worst criminals and terrorists in the world.
Use the drones to take out the drug cartels and poppy fields.
In fact, since terrorist organizations use those same poppy fields to generate money for their terrorist organizations, you can kill two birds with one Drone!
We have the technology- Let's use it!
Most of the poppy field are in Afghanistan..in an area controlled by the Taliban...whose to say that this isnt a type of chemical warfare..altering the concentration of the opiates..making otherwise safe injections lethal..(hot shots)..????
And Im way over my head..

Afghanistan is under American control. The Taliban all but wiped out poppy production in Afghanistan when they were in control.
Do you wonder why production has skyrocketed since America invaded? I don't

Drug addicts, more often than not, end up losing their jobs, their families, and eventually their lives. The singer George Michaels was just one of the latest victims of drug addiction (he apparently committed suicide). Addicts typically have to hit rock bottom before they get serious about kicking the habit. Many lives are ruined because of drugs, and it ruins the lives of not only them but everybody around them unless the people around them can get away from them. Most thefts are due to drug addicts funding their addictions. Some addicts are so desperate that they will even kill their own mothers to get money for drugs. The Will to kick the habit has to be there before there is any hope of an addict kicking it, but kicking the habit is virtually impossible. I knew of no effective remedy for addictions, until very recently, and it is worth its weight in gold to an addict who wants to kick the addiction, but I won’t get into it here.
The ironic thing is that the Federal Government is in the illegal drug importing business. They bring it in at tax payer expense, then sell it to the public on the black market, and then turn right around and arrest people for selling and using the very drugs they brought into the country and sold. And the money they make off of it goes into their pockets and into the Black Budget. And to add insult to injury, they have put unconstitutional laws into place to take your property on mere suspicion of drug use or drug dealing, this is referred to as “asset forfeiture” or “asset seizure”. So if you are driving down the road and they pull you over and find a $100 in your car, they can just take it, and keep it, without going to court, with the Federal Government's blessing. You could take them to court to get it back, but it would cost more to get it back than it is worth. So we are all victims of this drug scam thing of the Federal Government.

It is practically impossible to get a gun permit in Washington, DC, or Baltimore, Maryland.
Maryland has an automatic 5 year sentence for shooting a gun. Maryland has a ton of gun laws and they do not bend these rules by letting offenders off early, like you liberals let drug heads off.
The fact is that people in places with strong gun laws, commit more gun crimes, than people in states that believe the 2ND Amendment is valid.
Drugs, on the other hand, are most prevalent, in liberal states that don't punish dope heads for their crimes.
When the conservatives started using harsh penalties for using crack cocaine, crime dropped quickly. (You can expect more crime as liberal judges legalize the use of crack cocaine.)
When the liberals started using harsh penalties for carrying a gun, gun violence went up.
That is the difference.
How many died on our streets from fatal gunshots???And guns are legal while lethal drugs are not supposed to be.Wonder how many of our politicians and doctors contribute to the nations drug problems??Maybe as many as contribute to the every day gun deaths on our streets.

Mexico is a neighbor to the US.
We should take it upon ourselves and send our military down there to have a real war on the Cartels!
They are as big a problem for the US and Mexico as ISIS. The drug cartels have killed more of our citizens than ISIS.
We could wipe them off the face of the earth if we really wanted to.
We should help our neighbors, and they may even go back home to live if you could get rid of their biggest problem- The cartels!
We should at least quit selling the Cartels US made weapons, just to make some American a**hole gun manufacturer and NRA member rich! Think about that!

Quote from naprinciple:I'm against government everywhere, and at every level. It just so happens I live in America, and most Americans can't see their government is evil.
The problem is, as I said before u most recently blocked me, that u don't paint an accurate picture.
U deliberately omit important facts, or post misleading statements in order to further an anti American agenda.

Why not (for example) mention Japan, or Germany's actions which directly contributed to the outbreak of WWII. Instead u post misleading "facts" to put all blame on the U.S.

Seen a few herion deaths.*
One died from intoxication.
Another cracked his head open while falling backwards trying to walk up steps.
Was at the house of a friend who went to get high in his car during the winter and died from bad ventilation.
Don't shoot up! Stay away from the rig.
It is difficult to over dose while snorting dope.
You usually puke when you've had enough.
Only synthetic prescription dope is legal.
Oxycontin is pretty good.

How many died on our streets from fatal gunshots???And guns are legal while lethal drugs are not supposed to be.Wonder how many of our politicians and doctors contribute to the nations drug problems??Maybe as many as contribute to the every day gun deaths on our streets.
And most of this killing is brought on by drugs..
In gun-free cities..
Try again...

Very few criminals are buying guns LEGALLY. So no law will stop them.
Try again.

This Is How Chicago Gets Flooded With Illegal Guns

Gun-rights supporters often point to Chicago's endemic violence as evidence that gun control doesn't work. But the Trace's investigation suggests the real problem is the lax gun laws everywhere else.
Illinois "does not license or regulate gun dealers, require gun registration, limit the number of guns that can be sold at one time, or require background checks on private sales that aren't conducted at gun shows," writes Zack Beauchamp for ThinkProgress. As a result, it is relatively easy to circulate guns that originate outside Illinois throughout the state when they arrive.
you are right criminals are not buying the guns.........law abiding citizens are buying the guns and doing as they please with them.
allow gun owners to sell their weapons to other people without background checks or paperwork recording the sale.
“This makes it incredibly easy for gun traffickers, violent offenders and other prohibited purchasers to buy guns undetected,

First, if u live in Chicago, or anywhere, if u buy guns outside Chicago with the express intent of bringing them into Chicago, ur a criminal, not a law abiding citizen.
Second, if guns were banned or severely curtailed, do u honestly believe that criminals would be affected?
Criminals thrive dealing in illegal merchandise.
Guns are here like it or not, and Joe average has a right to defend themselves.

all for owning as many guns as you want, buy as much ammo as you need........doesn't bother me one bit
law abiding citizen bought the gun , who is going to report him for selling his legally purchased gun???
hence the problem, no accountability
this has nothing to do with BANNING guns......has to do with accountability to WHERE the guns ended up.
not all gun owners are created the same
a gun should be looked at just like a car
