There are two possible solutions to this problem. First, we can do it your way, which is to ignore our constitution, and take the guns away from every law abiding citizen. (That idea assumes that the criminals will not try to get guns illegally.)

The other way, is to execute the murders, rapists, and child molesters. This would include banning Muslims from entering the country, and expelling those Muslims who encourage other Muslims to murder innocent Christians and Jews.)

And there is more, we would have to punish first offenders of violent crimes much more severely. Those criminals with three strikes would have to be put to death.

In short, we would have to do what was done to stop the crime waves that we saw in the Thirties and the early fifties. (If you notice this worked.)

Yes, the second way would be very hard on those who break our laws, but the first way is very harsh on those who do not break our laws.

The problem with your way, is that it has never worked.

The positive thing about getting tough on crime, is that we might return to a time when America was so great that we didn't have to lock our doors at night. (Believe it or not, after the criminals were taken care of in the late forties/early fifties, people didn't bother to lock there doors at night, and car were often left with the keys hanging in the ignition.)
