Clinton could have received 800,000 votes from noncitizens, study finds

Hillary Clinton garnered more than 800,000 votes from noncitizens on Nov. 8, an approximation far short of President Trump’s estimate of up to 5 million illegal voters but supportive of his charges of fraud.
Political scientist Jesse Richman of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, has worked with colleagues to produce groundbreaking research on noncitizen voting, and this week he posted a blog in response to Mr. Trump’s assertion.
Based on national polling by a consortium of universities, a report by Mr. Richman said 6.4 percent of the estimated 20 million adult noncitizens in the U.S. voted in November. He extrapolated that that percentage would have added 834,381 net votes for Mrs. Clinton, who received about 2.8 million more votes than Mr. Trump.
Mr. Richman calculated that Mrs. Clinton would have collected 81 percent of noncitizen votes.
“Is it plausible that non-citizen votes added to Clinton’s margin? Yes,” Mr. Richman wrote. “Is it plausible that non-citizen votes account for the entire nation-wide popular vote margin held by Clinton? Not at all.”
Still, the finding is significant because it means noncitizens may have helped Mrs. Clinton carry a state or finish better than she otherwise would have.

On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher stated that untrue statements by President Obama were “within the normal parameters” while President Trump’s aren’t.
Maher began by saying, “We just can’t have a country ruled by what the president believes.”
Later on, Americans for Tax Reform President Grover Norquist stated, “Obama said, repeatedly on the campaign, not once in a tweet, but again and again and again in speeches, that he was never going to raise taxes on anyone who earned less than $250,000 a year. That lasted 16 days, before he did.”
Maher responded, “Okay, but that’s within the normal parameters of what politicians do. Saying you see 3 million people that don’t exist is not.”

Democrats are breaking records for stalling and denying President Trump his slate of top cabinet appointees.
The childish “Party of No” has only approved three of Trump’s appointees as of Monday.
The Daily Signal noted that this obstructionism from Democrats was “unprecedented” and Sen. McConnell reiterated the same point during a floor speech last week:
“I urge colleagues to remember that we worked with the administration of former President Obama after he was first inaugurated…We confirmed seven members of his Cabinet the day he took office, and nearly the entire Cabinet was filled within two weeks.”
On Tuesday Democrats bumped up their stall tactics by boycotting committee votes on President Trump’s cabinet picks.
Reuters reported:
U.S. Senate Democrats on Tuesday boycotted a planned committee vote on two of President Donald Trump’s nominees, Steve Mnuchin to be Treasury Secretary and Tom Price to head the Health and Human Services department, making it impossible for the vote to go forward.
Democrats said they were delaying the vote because they wanted more information on Price’s stock trades in an Australian medical company and reports that Mnuchin’s former bank, OneWest, used automated “robosignings” of foreclosures, which apparently contradicted statements he made to senators.

The political gossip during this past election cycle has centered around the corruption that has infected many of our nation’s congressional representatives and candidates for high office, Hillary Clinton and company being the most high profile politician so far.
Her most recent past sins, allegedly, are about misusing and mishandling classified emails through an unsecured server, among other things, but not ethics violations. At least not in the current go-round. She has, although, had accusations of ethics violations when she was a young lawyer involved in the Nixon Watergate investigation.
But there is another Democrat, who is now in quite a bit of hot water.
Rep. John Lewis. (D.GA) is the latest subject of an ethics violation investigation! This is, of course, after we found out that he is behind on paying his taxes for his luxurious DC townhouse!

A watchdog group is asking congressional ethics officials to investigate Rep. John Lewis (D., Ga.) and his chief of staff over apparent violations of House ethics rules, according to a letter released on Monday.
The Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust’s letter is asking the Office of Congressional Ethics to probe Lewis chief of staff Michael Collins’ dual roles in the congressman’s Washington office and as the treasurer for his 2016 reelection campaign.
Ethics rules bar senior House staff from serving in any fiduciary role for a political organization, and specifically mentioned campaign treasurers as a prohibited position for such staffers.
FACT’s complaint doesn’t just target Collins; it claims that Lewis himself is culpable for ethics violations by his top staffer.
“In this case, not only did Collins directly violate these rules, but Representative Lewis also violated the ethics rules because his own campaign employed Collins in a prohibited position and paid him a prohibited salary,” FACT wrote in its letter to OCE.
Ethics rules exist for one main purpose: to prevent the very kinds of abuse Lewis and Collins are accused of. It’s the kind of corruption the DC swamp is known for. President Trump has promised to “drain the swamp” and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see it happen.
Pull the stopper out, Mr. Trump!

A complete lunatic appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show tonight claiming Donald Trump is more dangerous than Hitler. Her name is Sunsara Taylor and she is an organizer for ‘Refuse Fascism’ which is a group that launched protests across the country to fight the ‘fascist Trump regime’.
Tucker Carlson tried to have a civil debate with this woman, but as you can see all she has in her vocabulary is ‘fascism’, ‘dangerous’, ‘Hitler’ and ‘Nazi’.
Sunsara Taylor: “We’re facing an emergency. Humanity is facing an emergency. A fascist regime has seized the reigns of power in the most powerful, actually the sole super power of the world. Trump and Pence are operating out of Hitler’s playbook, only they have nuclear weapons.”
She also addressed the President directly by saying, “President Trump, if you’re watching, way more people have protested than were at your Nazi inauguration.”

And the highlight of the show was when she claimed that Donald Trump is more dangerous than Hitler could have ever been.
