(Breitbart) – A 57-year-old convicted killer from California — who is serving a life sentence for murder, kidnapping, and robbery — has become the first U.S. inmate to receive state-funded sex reassignment surgery. According to the Associated Press, Shiloh Heavenly Quine underwent surgery to physically change her anatomy from male to female on Thursday. She has reportedly been living as a woman in a California men’s prison but will now be transferred to a women’s prison. Quine’s case prompted the Golden State to become the first to set standards for future inmates to apply to receive taxpayer funds for sex-reassignment surgery. The AP also notes that it has resulted in a federal mandate that requires California to provide transgender female inmates who are housed in men’s facilities with more female-oriented items such as nightgowns, scarves, and necklaces. According to the local CBS affiliate in San Francisco, the cost of sex-reassignment surgeries is estimated to be around $100,000, which includes medications before and after the operation. However, attorneys at the Oakland-based Transgender Law Center told CBS that figure is exaggerated. The daughter of Quine’s victim told CBS that the news made her sick. “My dad begged for his life,” Farida Baig, who tried unsuccessfully to block Quine’s surgery through the courts, said. “It just made me dizzy and sick. I’m helping pay for his surgery; I live in California. It’s kind of like a slap in the face.” Quine and an accomplice reportedly kidnapped and fatally shot Shahid Ali Baig, 33, in downtown Los Angeles in February 1980. Quine had reportedly attempted to amputate her male genitalia three years before she went to jail at the age of 19 and attempted to cut and hang herself at least five times while in prison. Anarchist groups are threatening to shut down Donald Trump’s swearing in ceremony by any means possible. Thousands of police officers and security agents are being deployed to Washington, D.C. in preparation to guard the President-elect and his supporters from a potentially violent mob. Washington, D.C. police officials are expecting at least 900,000 people to flood the capitol on inauguration day. Interim Police Chief Peter Newsham revealed more than two dozen activist groups for demonstrations – which claim to be peaceful in nature. Approximately 3,000 police officers from outside Washington, 5,000 National Guard troops and federal agents will create a buffer zone, crowd-control barriers and bag checks outside of the inauguration area. The Bikers for Trump are also expected to be on hand to help curtail any disruptions or violence on January 20. Newsham said his department is aware of anarchist groups vowing to disrupt, perhaps even thwart, the Trump oath of office ceremony, via online rants. “That’s one of the things that we have to prepare for,” the Washington, D.C. police official added. “The fact that you have some folks that are indicating on social media that they’re coming to shut down the inauguration events is something that we will be prepared for,” Newsham continued. “We’ve experienced that type of thing before in the city and we’ll be able to handle it.” Anti-Trump protests are scheduled to occur before, during, and after the President-elect’s inauguration ceremony, Yahoo News notes. The largest Trump protest related event which a permit has been granted for is the Women’s March on Washington, set for January 21. On Thursday the National Park Service, which controls the permit process for the public grounds in the capitol, began issuing permission to use protest sites. Civil Rights attorneys threatened to sue the park service, claiming the agency was attempting to stomp on political dissent. At least one group who requested a permit during the inauguration does not seem focused on disrupting Trump’s swearing in ceremony with violence. A pro-marijuana lobbying group has promised to distribute 4,200 joints and light them up near the inauguration site. MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry said she took issue with the term “hard worker” and literally compared it to slave-labor. Naturally, many people thought this comparison was extreme, including Lenny Kostecki, who wrote to Mike Rowe of “Dirty Jobs” for his opinion on it. “My take, Lenny, for what it’s worth, is that there is no longer a limit to what people can be offended by,” Rowe wrote back. For Rowe, the ideology behind Harris-Perry’s words was clear. She seemed to be “put off” by the fact that hard work and success often go hand-in-hand. “She doesn’t like the fact that many hard working individuals have not enjoyed the same measure of success as Speaker Ryan, who was being acknowledged on her show for his excellent work ethic,” Rowe said. Rowe feels it is important to fully understand how someone on the left like Harris-Perry views this idea of “hard work.” Harris-Perry brought up the idea of slaves in the field and how their “hard work” did not help them to be successful by any means. She noted that she keeps a picture of slaves working in the field to remind her of this. Thankfully, Rowe destroyed her on that point as well. “That’s a bit like hanging images of rape and bondage to better illustrate the true nature of human sexuality,” Rowe said. “First of all, slavery is not ‘hard work;’ it’s forced labor. There’s a big difference. Likewise, slaves are not workers; they are, by definition, property. They have no freedom, no hope, and no rights. Yes, they work hard, obviously, but there can be no ‘work ethic’ among slaves because the slave has no choice in the matter.” Perhaps one of the best points Rowe made was that he too keeps a picture on his office wall. It is one that many would find completely unflattering — a picture of himself about to clean the most disgusting toilet he had ever seen. He said he keeps it there as a reminder that a plumber has tons of job security. Finally, unlike slave labor, free workers have a choice to work as hard or as lax as they choose. They can even work so little they end up getting fired, or they could work hard enough that they end up getting a promotion to a supervisory role. Although Rowe did not mention this, what Harris-Perry’s point equates to is socialism. “Everyone should be equal,” is the predominant theme in liberalized Europe and other countries. But that takes the drive to succeed away from people, and that takes the creative ingenuity of our country away as well — all of which makes Harris-Perry’s ideology extremely flawed. Maybe this would be too dirty of a job even for Mike Rowe, but perhaps he should run for Congress or the Senate! Then BuzzFeed published the full version of the alleged document, even though it attached the broad disclaimer that its authenticity was “unverified and potentially unverifiable.” Part of the story alleges Trump aide Michael Cohen went to Prague to coordinate activities with Russian agents. However, all the main characters involved in the story are adamantly denying it. Trump tweeted: “FAKE NEWS – A TOTAL POLITICAL WITCH HUNT!” He added, “Intelligence agencies should never have allowed this fake news to ‘leak’ into the public. One last shot at me.Are we living in Nazi Germany?” And, “Russia has never tried to use leverage over me. I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH RUSSIA – NO DEALS, NO LOANS, NO NOTHING!” Russian President Vladimir Putin denied his country had collected or was holding any incriminating evidence on Trump. Cohen produced his passport on MSNBC to show he had never even been to Prague. Incoming White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus called the report “offensive crap that we shouldn’t even be talking about. This is garbage … shameful is what it is.” Perhaps the most damning evidence that the news is fake comes from the apparent source of the story, the website 4Chan, which now claims it fabricated the entire story as a hoax. According to ZeroHedge “4Chan now claims that the infamous ‘golden showers’ scene in the unverified 35-page dossier, allegedly compiled by a British intelligence officer, was a hoax and fabricated by a member of the chatboard as ‘fanfiction,’ then sent to Rick Wilson, who proceeded to send it to the CIA, which then put it in their official classified intelligence report on the election.” Wilson is a GOP political strategist and media consultant who virulently opposed Trump. But there is another report that intelligence officials were given the questionable document by Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz. According to the Daily Mail, “Sworn Donald Trump enemy John McCain admitted Wednesday that he passed the dossier of claims of a Russian blackmail plot against the president-elect.” McCain has now publicly admitted he turned over something, and it seems to be the document in question. “Late last year, I received sensitive information that has since been made public,” he said in a public statement. “Upon examination of the contents, and unable to make a judgment about their accuracy, I delivered the information to the Director of the FBI. That has been the extent of my contact with the FBI or any other government agency regarding this issue,” he added. Then this morning the Guardian reported the FBI applied for a warrant to spy on the Trump team, and may have gotten one. The Guardian said it “has learned that the FBI applied for a warrant from the foreign intelligence surveillance (Fisa) court over the summer in order to monitor four members of the Trump team suspected of irregular contacts with Russian officials. The Fisa court turned down the application asking FBI counter-intelligence investigators to narrow its focus. Elizabeth Warren took on Ben Carson, Trump’s choice to head the department of Housing and Urban Development and tried to trap him on numerous occasions by her line of questioning. “Can you assure me that not a single taxpayer dollar you give out will financially benefit the president-elect or his family?” Warren said. A man set a pile of debris ablaze and claims he tried torching himself across the street from the Trump International Hotel in Washington D.C. to protest the incoming “dictator” on Tuesday night. The man was reportedly hospitalized with burns but did not appear hurt when explaining his motives to a reporter outside the real estate magnate’s hotel venture, which opened in October 2016. “We have a dictator that has been elected,” the man told WRC-TV, just as his small fire erupted with what he described as “denatured alcohol.” The firebug seemed startled by the small explosion but assured witnesses that the worst was over. The reporter immediately asked, “Why would you do this?” “I tried to set myself on fire as an act of protest … to protest the fact that we’ve elected somebody completely incapable of respecting the constitution of the United States,” he added. The apparent arsonist was not immediately identified except that he was from California, according to the television station. It’s unclear if he will face any charges. The Washington Post reports the 45-year-old man had third-degree burns on about 10% of his body. His stunt comes as President-elect Donald Trump gears up for the presidency on Friday with thousands of demonstrators expected for a massive march protesting the incoming administration on Saturday. The D.C. hotel, which opened in the city’s historic Old Post Office building in October, has been the frequent target of graffiti leading up to the contentious November election. However, the pictures in the article show the crowd size for Obama when he was speaking during his 2009 inauguration with the crowd from Trump’s inauguration approximately 3 hours before Trump spoke. CNN’s report was another of their ‘Fake News’ lies. The photos used in their post were not comparing apples to apples and President Trump’s Press Secretary pointed this out on Saturday in a special press conference. Trump’s crowd was huge and every bit as big as Obama’s crowd in 2009. Also, in CNN’s article they say that Obama had 1.8 million people in 2009. This is now refuted and is more likely closer to 800,000. Later CNN’s report was proven false by their own reporting. CNN released a gigapixel of President Trump’s Inauguration and the areas they show as empty in their article from their January 21st report were filled to the brim in their more recent picture which was taken at the time of Trump’s speech during the Inauguration ceremony. It is now clear that Trump had at least as many participants at his inauguration as Obama did in 2009, and probably more. The Left and MSM are terrible with numbers and only report them when they can distort and use them to support the Left’s agenda. The liberal media went completely nuts over this claim, using the fact that there was no investigation into voter fraud as proof there was no voter fraud. Well, now there’s going to be an investigation, so I guess the liberal media, using liberal logic, will now report that voter fraud is real. “I will be asking for a major investigation into VOTER FRAUD, including those registered to vote in two states, those who are illegal and even, those registered to vote who are dead (and many for a long time). Depending on results, we will strengthen up voting procedures!” Trump announced in a couple of tweets. If there is one thing democrats hate more than charges of voter fraud it is an investigation into voter fraud. Rep. Fight it NOW!” Ellison wrote. Okay, so here is a member of Congress telling people to fight proof of citizenship as a requirement to vote. This is beyond the usual democratic opposition to voter ID laws. Ellison wants people to fight for the “right” of illegal aliens to vote in our elections. I told you it was insane. I’m not reading something into these words that doesn’t exist. Ellison very clearly states that he wants to lead the fight against photo ID and proof of citizenship requirements to vote. If he is against proof of citizenship, and he is, then he clearly wants people who are not citizens to be able to vote, which is illegal. I’m not shocked that a democrat feels this way, but it is kind of surprising that one would publicly admit it. Democrats rely on, not only illegal aliens voting, but also convicted felons, dead people, and multi-voters. Their reluctance toward investigations into voter fraud is evidence enough that they fear the findings. James Ratcliffe, a longtime licensed auto seller from northern Virginia, pleaded guilty in Washington, D.C., federal court Thursday to working for five years with an unnamed State Department insider to steal 15 unarmored official vehicles, including the ubiquitous Suburban model favored by the U.S. Secret Service and a low-mileage 2004 Hummer H2. The vehicles were lost in the bureaucratic shuffle of the Diplomatic Security Service’s division, which in 2015 reported having more than 4,700 armored vehicles in use worldwide to protect missions and personnel, with another 783 awaiting shipment, repairs or assignment. All but two of the stolen vehicles – “essentially unused” 2013 Suburbans, a black one and a white one, together valued at $96,400 – were sold by Ratcliffe for a profit, along with truckloads of tires and wheels, prosecutors said in charging papers. Ratcliffe, of Fairfax Station, Virginia, pleaded guilty to felony conspiracy to defraud the government, punishable by a statutory maximum of five years in prison, although a plea agreement said federal guidelines would call for a sentence of 18 to 24 months. The scheme allegedly brought Ratcliffe $408,520. The vehicles were sold from a Springfield, Virginia, shop that did maintenance work for the department and where Ratcliffe was a manager and previous owner, prosecutors said. The vehicles were kept at the home where Ratcliffe, 67, and another unnamed conspirator who now owns the business live, court files state. They used the black Suburban with a dealer plate as their personal vehicle, prosecutors said. “Are you pleading guilty today because you are, in fact, guilty?” U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta asked in court. Ratcliffe answered, “Yes, sir.” Mehta set sentencing for May 3 and released Ratcliffe on condition that travel beyond Virginia, the District or Maryland be cleared through probation officials. Ratcliffe, whose plea deal requires him to return all proceeds, and his Bethesda, Maryland, attorney, Allen Orenberg, declined to comment afterward. The repair shop’s owner did not return a telephone message left Wednesday with an employee. Ratcliffe managed the Springfield company and was sole proprietor of a second business for about 32 years, authorities said. Prosecutors charged that Ratcliffe obtained the vehicles from the department employee, titled them under his business’s name, told buyers they were bought legitimately such as through auctions, then paid kickbacks of cash or vehicles to the employee. “The goal of the conspiracy was for the defendant, Person B, and others to enrich themselves by engaging in a conspiracy and a scheme to defraud in which they obtained property of the United States,” Assistant U.S. Attorney John Marston wrote, referring to the unnamed State Department employee responsible for buying, maintaining and keeping records of vehicles.
